Parts of Times Square In NYC Closed Down Due to Possible Car Bomb - Report 5/01/10

Fox News: Police evacuated buildings and cleared streets of thousands of tourists around New York City's Times Square after finding an apparent car bomb in a parked sport utility vehicle.

An official tells Fox News that a dark SUV was found to have what initial reports indicated was a "failed incendiary device," including gasoline, propane and wires.

The area is now secure, with immediate areas closed off.

A man was seen running from the vehicle, but authorities have not been able to find or identify him.

Police said Saturday the bomb squad was investigating the contents of the car on 45th Street.

They say the block was closed between Seventh and Eighth avenues as a precaution.

New York City police say a mounted police officer noticed smoke coming from the SUV at 6:30 p.m.

Democrat Rep. Luis Gutierrez Arrested Outside White House During Immigration Protest - Video 5/1/10

Here is video of Democrat Rep. Luis Gutierrez (appears at around the :50 mark) being arrested outside the White House today as he took part in an Immigration Rally/Protest. Gutierrez wore a T-Shirt that said, "Arrest Me, Not My Friends," as he protested with dozens of others.

The protest sought to put pressure on President Obama to push for passage of an Immigration Bill in Congress.

He should be so proud. It's always a great example for a lawmaker to break the law.

Conan O'Brien Tells "60 Minutes" His Relationship with NBC became "Toxic" - Video

Here is a video preview of a "60 Minutes" interview Conan O'Brien did that will air tomorrow night.

In the clip, Conan talks about how his relationship with NBC became "toxic" as they wanted to move him out of his "Tonight Show" slot to bring Jay Leno back.

He said, "Everybody is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts." He went on to say, "If you're a fan of Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh, try reading a few columns on the Huffington Post website."

Barney Frank Blames Tom Delay for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac - Video 5/01/10

Barney Frank says it's not fair that he's being criticized for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. When asked whether he believes the criticism directed toward him is fair, Frank responded, "I was in the minority. Tom Delay was calling the shots at that point, so no I don't think it's fair to criticize me for what Tom Delay did."


Flashback: Barney Frank in 2005 says, "You're not going to see the collapse that you see when people talk about a bubble. So, those of us on our committee in particular, will continue to push for home ownership."

Ann Coulter Says "Liberals are being Hysterical" About the New Arizona Anti-Illegal Immigration Law - Video 4/30/10

Here is video of Ann Coulter on Fox Business Network yesterday, where she said it is clear "Americans want the immigration laws enforced."

Coulter said there has been a great deal of lying about the new Arizona law. "Liberals are being hysterical about it," Coulter told host David Asman. When he argued with her about the law, Coulter told him, "You have been watching too much MSNBC."

Coulter said the Arizona law "is a fantastic law," and she hopes to see laws like this all across the country.
