Dan Coats Wins GOP Primary for U.S. Senate in Indiana

Former Senator Dan Coats of Indiana has won the GOP Primary in Indiana tonight to run for the open U.S. Senate seat in Indiana this Fall. Coats defeated two other major GOP contenders, and will face Democrat Brad Ellsworth this Fall.

With nearly 90% of the precincts reporting, Coats led by 10% over his nearest rival, Marlin Stutzman:
