Judd Gregg: Dems Still Want “Lending to Just About Anybody Who Wants a Home” – Video

Here is video of Sen. Judd Gregg on CNBC today where he placed the blame for most of the U.S. financial crisis squarely at the feet of the Democrats. Gregg was asked about the so-called “Financial Reform” bill, which he described as a “disaster” because it does nothing about reform of Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac.

That’s where Gregg drew the link between the Democrats and the economic crisis:
“The problem was created by the Congress. It was the Congress that told Freddie and Fannie to radically expand their securitization efforts. It was the Congress which said “Forget your standards – Go out there and lend to anybody who wants a home and securitize it for them.” That was purely at the initiative of the Congress. In 2005, Richard Shelby brought to the floor a reform package which, had it passed at the time, would have avoided almost all the problems we’ve had with Fannie and Freddie. . . . . There is still an attitude in the Congress which says we should be pushing out lending to just about anybody who wants a home…..It’s still the philosophy of the majority party.”

The majority party – the Democrats – love to blame all the ills of the world on George W. Bush. But their philosophy of making home ownership a “right” in large part brought us to where we are today, and it sounds like they have not learned a thing from this crisis. That’s why they need to become the minority party, and this time, the Republicans need to govern with true conservative principles.

Democrat Rep. Patrick Murphy Faces Angry Constituents Asking for a”Real Town Hall Meeting” – Video

Here is raw video of Pennsylvania Democrat Rep. Patrick Murphy this past weekend facing constituents at a meeting he thought was going to be a “one-on-one” series of conferences with people. However, he found out that they wanted a “real town hall meeting” instead of “one-on-one” meetings.

Murphy looked shell-shocked as his constituents repeatedly asked if he was going to hold a town hall meeting. Murphy seemed desperate to keep the thing a “one-on-one” format rather than allow it to be a town hall meeting, which the vast majority of the people wanted. Murphy represents the 8th Congressional District.

Rep. Darrell Issa: “There’s a Cover-Up Going on at the White House” – Video 5/25/10

Here is video of California Rep. Darrell Issa on Fox News today where he talked about the issue of the job offer made to Rep. Joe Sestak by someone at the White House to try and get him to drop his bid for the U.S. Senate against Sen. Arlen Specter.

Issa has requested a “Special Prosecutor” be appointed to look into the matter, which has been rejected by Attorney General Eric Holder. Holder has said the matter “could be investigated,” but no such decision has been made.

Issa said it is not for the White House to decide what is “inappropriate,” referring to White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs’ assertion that “nothing inappropriate” took place.

“This problem is not going away” for the White House, Issa said. Issa went on to also say, “There is a cover-up going on at the White House,” and the offer of a job “could be impeachable.”

Once Again, Joe Sestak Repeatedly Dodges Questions on Job Offer Bribe - Video 5/25/10

Here is video of Rep. Joe Sestak on CNN with John King, where he continued his repeated dodging of questions regarding a job offer he says he received from the Obama White House to try and get him to drop his U.S. Senate bid against incumbent Sen. Arlen Specter. Sestak confirmed again that he did receive a job offer, but will not say from who or what the job was. Of course, the looming question is what did President Obama know about this job offer, and when did he know it?

The media seems to be starting to get active on this story. The question won't go away. At some point, no matter how hard he tries, Obama is going to get hit with a question about this matter and what he knew about it.

Dick Morris Says Obama Had to Know About Sestak Job Offer; Calls it a “High Crime and Misdemeanor” – Video

He is confident Obama would have known if the offer of a significant job was made to Sestak. “That is a high crime and misdemeanor.” In other words — an impeachable offense.

North Korea Tells Its Military to “Prepare for Combat” – Video Report

South Korean President Addresses Nation on Sinking of Ship; Says North Korea “Will Pay a Price” – Video

Here is complete video (with translation) of South Korean President Lee Myung-bak addressing his nation on the sinking of their ship – the Cheonan – by North Korea. President Lee drew a line in the sand by saying the North would no longer be allowed to use South Korean shipping lanes. He also warned that if North Korea violates their airspace, or waters, the South “will immediately exercise our right of self-defense.” Here is the text of the President’s Speech:

Via Korean Times

Fellow Koreans, I am standing here today, keenly aware that the Korean Peninsula is facing a critical turning point.

My fellow citizens, The Cheonan was sunk by a surprise North Korean torpedo attack. Again, the perpetrator was North Korea. Their attack came at a time when the people of the Republic of Korea were enjoying their well-earned rest after a hard day’s work. Once again, North Korea violently shattered our peace.

The sinking of the Cheonan constitutes a military provocation against the Republic of Korea by North Korea.

Since the end of the Korean War, the North has perpetrated incessant armed provocations against us, including the bombing attack against the presidential delegation at the Aung San Martyr’s Mausoleum in Myanmar and the bombing in midair of Korean Air Flight 858. The North Koreans, however, have never officially admitted the crimes they committed. This time is no different. They continue to insist that my Government fabricated the sinking of the Cheonan.

I am not surprised by such North Korean behavior and this was the reason why I emphasized, from the very beginning, the importance of conducting a thorough and objective scientific investigation into the incident. I also asked the nation to exercise patience and self-restraint. It was important for us not to come to any hasty conclusion until the results of the investigation came out.

Finally, on May 20th, the international joint investigation group released their conclusive findings, backed by definitive evidences. With the release of the final report, no responsible country in the international community will be able to deny the fact that the Cheonan was sunk by North Korea.

Fellow citizens, We have always tolerated North Korea’s brutality, time and again. We did so because we have always had a genuine longing for peace on the Korean Peninsula. But now things are different. North Korea will pay a price corresponding to its provocative acts. I will continue to take stern measures to hold the North accountable.

From this moment, no North Korean ship will be allowed to make passage through any of the shipping lanes in the waters under our control, which has been allowed by the Inter-Korean Agreement on Maritime Transportation. The sea routes meant for inter-Korean exchanges and cooperation must never again be used for armed provocations.

Trade and exchanges between the Republic of Korea and North Korea will also be suspended. We still remember the killing of an innocent South Korean tourist by a North Korean armed guard at the Mt. Kumgang resort. More recently, North Korea unilaterally confiscated South Korean assets at this same resort. Worse yet, the North sank the Cheonan taking the precious lives of our young sailors. Under these circumstances, any inter-Korean trade or other cooperative activity is meaningless. However, we will continue to provide assistance for infants and children. Matters pertaining to the Kaesong Industrial Complex will be duly considered, taking its unique characteristics into consideration.

From now on, the Republic of Korea will not tolerate any provocative act by the North and will maintain the principle of proactive deterrence. If our territorial waters, airspace or territory are violated, we will immediately exercise our right of self-defense. . . . Read More

Scarborough, Buchanan Say Sestak Will Eventually Have to “Walk Back” His Job Offer Story – Video 5/24/10

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Here is video of Democrat Rep. Anthony Weiner on “Morning Joe” finally saying that President Obama and his administration need to put all the relevant facts out concerning the alleged offer of an administration job in order to get Joe Sestak to drop his U.S. Senate bid against incumbent Arlen Specter.

Joe Scarborough said he believes Joe Sestak will eventually be forced to walk back his claim that he was offered the bribe of a job. Pat Buchanan agreed that Sestak is going to have to “walk that cat back a long way.”

They are probably right. In order to put this behind them, they will twist Sestak’s arm to change his story. I sure hope Rep. Darrell Issa and others in the GOP will not let it be swept under the rug like that.

Alabama GOP Candidate for Congress Focuses Race on "Stopping President Obama from Destroying Our Nation" - Video

Via HotAirPundit

CORRECTED: I mistakenly wrote than Parker Griffith is the Democrat opponent of Les Phillip. Rep. Griffith, who currently holds the seat, was a Democrat but in late 2009, switched parties, and is now a Republican. Thanks to an anonymous commenter for pointing that out.

Here is an amazing ad by GOP Candidate for Congress Les Phillip, who is running against incumbent Repulican Parker Griffith in Alabama's 5th Congressional District. In the ad, he masterfully goes over the head of his opponent and frames the election as a race to stop President Obama from destroying our nation. This ad could become the template for many of the House races in strongly conservative areas of the country. It will have incumbent Blue Dog Democrats quaking in their boots:

"This is the story of two young men: One fell in with left-wing radicals, the other emigrated to America. While one played with terrorists and allowed an America-hating pastor to baptize his children, the other joined the Navy to defend his country.

I love America, but President Obama is ashamed of it. I'm going to Congress to help stop him from destroying our nation - and they're not going to call me a racist. I'm Les Phillips, and I took an oath to defend this country against all enemies foreign and domestic - And I approved this message."

Indonesian Church Closed by Authorities Due to Protests by Muslim Mobs

Ruins of a West Java, Indonesia Church smolder after being burned by a Muslim mob. - FOTO ANTARA

Indonesia is the most populous Islamic nation in the world, and the general perception is that the Islam there is the least radical. But that is just not the reality on the ground if you happen to be a Christian. Here is news of a West Java church that has been shut down by local authorities because of a series of protests by Muslims:
Asia News: Bogor authorities (West Java province) ordered the closure of a local church building that belongs to Gereja Kristen Indonesia (GKI), a Christian group also known as Gereja Kristen Yasmin Bogor. This has outraged hundreds of faithful and induced the Indonesian Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) to file an official protest.

In an official statement, GKI followers called the decision to ban their religious and social meetings unlawful. They note, “The mayor of Bogor granted the IMB (building permit) back on 13 May 2006.”

The closure had initially been ordered by Bogor’s City and Gardening authority in February 2008, but was overturned because the matter falls under the mayor’s jurisdiction.

After a series of protests by local extremist Islamic groups, the city decided to close the church and suspend the GKI despite the fact that the Christian group had all the necessary permits to build its church and practice its faith.

For some time, local Islamic groups had been protesting publicly and violently against Christians, accusing them of “proselytising”. They are certainly opposed to Christians having any building, even if the latter did not have a religious purpose.

At the end of April, extremists attacked and set fire to a Christian centre in Bogor on the ground that Christians wanted to build a house of prayer disguised as an educational facility. Instead of stopping the rioters, the authorities banned Christians from engaging in any activities. . . . MORE

RNC Chairman Michael Steele Says Rand Paul’s “Philosophy is Misplaced for These Times” – Video 5/23/10

Here is video of Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, and Democrat National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine on Fox News Sunday today with Chris Wallace.

Wallace first asked Kaine about Connecticut Democrat Richard Blumenthal's lying about his having served "in Vietnam, when he actually never did. Kaine said it was important to set the record straight, but that the people of Connecticut know Blumenthal and like him.

Kaine also commented on Joe Sestak, and whether or not he was offered a job by the Obama White House in order to get him to drop his Senate bid against Arlen Specter. Kaine said he really does not have any knowledge as to whether an offer was made, but he personally knows of nothing like that happening.

On Rand Paul, GOP Chairman Steele said he believes Paul's "philosophy is misplaced for these times." Steele said, "He let philosophy get ahead of reality."

The media has distorted what Paul said, and now they will use Steele's comments as evidence that what they are saying is true. Paul never called for repealing the Civil Rights Act. While Michael Steele is RNC Chairman, it is his job to advance the cause of the GOP and Republican candidates. The last thing he needs to be doing is bashing the GOP U.S. Senate nominee in Kentucky. He needs to learn when it comes to GOP Candidates, "if you can't say something good, don't say anything at all." If he can't learn that, he doesn't need to be RNC Chairman.

Undercover Sting Catches Britain's Duchess of York ("Fergie") Trying to Sell Access to Prince Andrew - Video

Here is video of an undercover sting that catches Great Britain's Duchess of York - Sarah Ferguson ("Fergie") - actually trying to sell access to her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, for 500,000 English Pounds.

Times of London: The Duchess of York is “devastated” and “regretful” after she was filmed in a tabloid newspaper sting apparently offering to sell access to her ex-husband Prince Andrew for £500,000, her spokeswoman said today.

The Duchess, currently en route to Los Angeles, told a reporter posing as an Indian businessman that the payment would “open doors” and was filmed sitting in front of a table with a large amount of cash laid out on it.

There is no suggestion that Prince Andrew, who works as an unpaid special representative for UK Trade & Investment, a government agency, was ever aware of the meetings or the claims said to have been made by the duchess.

Rumours of money troubles have dogged the Duchess of York since her divorce from Prince Andrew in 1996. . . MORE

U.S. Concludes North Korean Dictator Kim Jong-Il Authorized Sinking of South Korean Ship - NYT

The New York Times is reporting tonight that a U.S. Intelligence Analysis of the sinking of a South Korean ship in March concludes that North Korean Leader Kim Jong-Il "must have authorized the torpedo assault":

New York Times: A new American intelligence analysis of a deadly torpedo attack on a South Korean warship concludes that Kim Jong-il, the ailing leader of North Korea, must have authorized the torpedo assault, according to senior American officials who cautioned that the assessment was based on their sense of the political dynamics there rather than hard evidence.

The officials said they were increasingly convinced that Mr. Kim ordered the sinking of the ship, the Cheonan, to help secure the succession of his youngest son.

“We can’t say it is established fact,” said one senior American official who was involved in the highly classified assessment, based on information collected by many of the country’s 16 intelligence agencies. “But there is very little doubt, based on what we know about the current state of the North Korean leadership and the military.”. . . Spanish Matador Gored in Mouth by Raging Bull - Video (Graphic)

WARNING: VERY GRAPHIC
Here is shocking video of a Spanish matador, who was in the process of finishing off a Bull, suddenly finding himself on the losing end of the fight. The matador stumbled, and the Bull got his revenge:

Sky News: A matador cheated death by millimetres when the beast he was tormenting rammed its horn straight through his chin and out through his mouth.

It only took a split second for Julio Aparicio to became the bull's bloody victim at a Madrid bullring.

The animal had already been pierced with several banderillas and was close to being killed when he seized his chance of revenge.

Aparicio stumbled and the angry beast charged at him, prompting the crowd at the Las Ventas bullring to gasp in horror - expecting the bull to rip off the fighter's jaw or even his head.

Remarkably, the beast stepped back and his horn slipped out of the matador's face as swiftly as it had entered.

Aparicio fell to the ground in shock, with blood pouring from his gaping wound. . . MORE

Obama Talks to West Point Cadets About the Importance of Combating "Climate Change" Etc. - Video 5/22/10

Here is another clip from President Obama's Commencement Address at West Point today, where he called for a "New International Order" to combat "violent extremism and insurgency, stopping the spread of Nuclear Weapons, securing Nuclear Materials, combating a changing climate and sustaining global growth, helping countries feed themselves and care for their sick, preventing conflict and healing wounds. If we are successful in these tasks, that will lessen conflicts around the world."

Oh brother. What a bunch of left-wing gobbledygook. Essentially, Obama is setting forth a doctrine that the U.S. is not going to act unilaterally, but is going to depend on this abstract "New International Order" to so bring the world together that there won't be any further conflicts that require military action.

Notice Obama's use of "violent extremism," rather than any mention of the Islamic Jihadist ideology that is the real enemy we face. How many Hindu, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist etc. "violent extremists" have attacked our people? They have all been Islamic.

How sad that these wonderful cadets did not have a more inspiring speaker to send them off to battle. Instead of hearing about a "New International Order," they deserved to hear from a Commander-in-Chief who was focused on them and their ability to keep America safe, rather than about fighting "climate change" and "sustaining global growth."

Traditionally, Democrats lead the Generic Congressional Ballot by a few points. In the Gallup Model, Democrats need to be at 48% or better to retain control of the House in Midterm Elections. Democrats are currently at 45% in the Gallup Poll.

Obama Uses Humor at West Point to Remind that His "Power is Absolute" over Military - Video 5/22/10

Here is video from President Obama's Commencement Speech at West Point today, where he used humor to remind everyone his "power is absolute" over the military.

Obama told the Cadets his "power is wisely limited" as President, but that there is one area where he has absolute power. He then said he "absolved all cadets who are on restriction for minor conduct offenses," but said he would leave it those who knew better than him to determine what "minor" is.

Latest White House Produced Propaganda "West Wing Week" Video

Here is the latest edition of "West Wing Week," a White House produced propaganda-style video that reviews President Obama's week and touts the administration's accomplishments.

To me, it has the feel of state-run TV you might see in some Third World Banana Republic. It's one thing for the White House to release photos or raw video of events, but the way this is put together with narration gives it a really creepy feel that is unprecedented for a Presidential Administration.

The message control is rankling many in the media:

The Wasington Post:The message-control issue flared again this week when the White House posted its own video interview with Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan, bypassing reporters who have been seeking to interview her.

White House officials deny that they are attempting to end-run reporters. In fact, they say such initiatives as "West Wing Week" are evidence of greater candor. "These videos are just one part of the president's effort to have the most transparent White House in history," said Nick Shapiro, a spokesman, who added that "West Wing Week" "is yet another way for people to get a better sense of what's happening at the White House and why."

The White House wouldn't make Chaudhary, the videographer, available for an interview. But in a statement issued through Shapiro, he said the videos are "written, produced and edited by me." Chaudhary, a former film professor at New York University who extensively documented Obama's presidential campaign, added: "As the official White House videographer it's my job to document the president's activities, in motion pictures, for history. Though not as extensive as the still picture record of the president's routine, I found that every week I had a lot of interesting clips that couldn't really stand on their own but did when collected together and shown in context of the president's schedule. West Wing Week is essentially the vehicle for these moments. It's almost as if our flickr site could talk." . . . MORE

Democrats "Bracing" For Loss in Hawaii CD-1 Special Election Today

Hawaii is holding a special election today in the 1st Congressional District to fill the seat vacated by Neil Abercrombie who resigned earlier this year to run for Governor.

Republicans believe they have a real shot of winning today with Charles Djou, who is actually leading in the latest polls against two Democrat candidates. Since the election is being held without a primary, all candidates are listed on the ballot, and it appears, the two main Democrats will split the vote sufficiently to allow Djou to win. There are 14 candidates in all on the ballot. Whoever gets the most votes wins, even if it is not a majority.

The vote is being conducted as a vote-by-mail election, so there are no polling places. All ballots have to be received by 6:00 pm today Hawaii time (Midnight ET) in order to be counted.

This is Obama's backyard. He carried the state with 72% of the vote. So a GOP win here would be a shot in the arm for Republicans, and an embarrassing blow for Obama.

The Washington Post: Democrats are bracing for the loss of a House seat Saturday in President Obama's birthplace of Hawaii, where a special election in a heavily Democratic district has inflamed tensions within the party.

Republican Charles Djou has been leading in recent public polls in the winner-takes-all contest -- largely as a result of a feud between two Democratic candidates that has splintered their party's base. A Djou victory would break the Democrats' long winning streak of special elections and hand the Republican Party a symbolic victory in its bid to regain control of Congress.

There were no party primaries to replace Neil Abercrombie, a 10-term Democratic congressman who resigned to run for governor, so Saturday's election features 14 candidates. Whoever gets the most votes wins.

The two leading Democrats, state Senate President Colleen Hanabusa and former congressman Ed Case, have been fighting for months, with neither candidate willing to bow out of the race in the interest of party unity.

Seizing the opportunity, Djou appealed to voters' concerns about the federal deficit, striking an anti-Washington tone in an effort to become only the third Republican ever to represent Hawaii in Congress.

"I've centered my whole campaign on my approach to fiscal responsibility and government accountability, and I think that's resonating with the electorate, even here in Hawaii," Djou said in an interview Friday. He added, "For a long time, there's been a feeling that this seat is wholly owned by the Democratic Party. I have been hitting hard on the theme that this is not a seat that is owned by any political party or union or special interest group. This is a seat owned by the people." . . . MORE

Somehow, I don’t think Mr. Saakashvili should take Putin “lightly.” He’s probably done that to people (men) before.

Krauthammer Calls Obama Admin. Handling of AZ Law Arrogant and "Lawless" - Video 5/21/10

Here is video of Charles Krauthammer last night saying the actions of President Obama and his administration in criticizing the new Arizona anti-illegal immigration law show the "arrogance," and "near lawlessness" with which they are governing. He was also referring to the fact that Obama's head of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) has said he may not process illegal aliens caught under the new Arizona law.

"It's lawless," Krauthammer said, because until the law is struck down or changed in some way, it is legal, and should be enforced by the Executive Branch.

Krauthammer is absolutely right. The law was passed by the legislature of Arizona and signed into law by the Governor. Just because Obama and his people don't like the law, it is not their place to say "we are going to ignore it."

Arizona 'Sing-A-Long' Ad Targets Critics of Immigration Law for Not Reading It Before Criticizing It - Video 5/21/10

Here is a new ad by Gov. Jan Brewer that targets the critics of the Arizona immigration law for not knowing what they're talking about. Despite their criticism, Eric Holder, Janet Napolitano, and others have admitted that they haven't read the law.

Two weeks ago, Governor Jan Brewer took President Obama to task for making Arizona's unsecured borders and illegal immigration crisis a laughing matter. However, since then, Washington's comedy of errors has grown far worse, with top cabinet officials admitting that they haven't even read Arizona's new immigration law. Broken borders are not a laughing matter, but the failure by Obama's trusted officials to read Arizona's law before commenting and condemning it is laughable. Read the law for yourself at: www.SecuretheBorder.org.

Bill O'Reilly Shoots it Out with State Dept. Official Over Apology to Chinese for Arizona Law - Video 5/21/10

Here is video of Bill O'Reilly tonight in a shootout with P.J. Crowley, State Department Spokesman, over actions by Assistant Secretary of State Michael Posner in discussing human rights with China. Posner essentially apologized for the Arizona law to the Chinese.

O'Reilly pressed Crowley on why Posner would raise the Arizona anti-illegal immigration law as an example of possible "human rights" violations with the Chinese. O'Reilly read Crowley's words from the transcript, but Crowley tried to spin the statement as not being what he said.

He then asked Crowley what Hillary Clinton thinks about Posner's remarks. He said Hillary Clinton has the same position as Barack Obama - that the Arizona law could lead to discrimination.

O'Reilly said Posner is a "far-left zealot," connected to George Soros, and he does not understand why he was ever hired in the first place. Crowley just kept repeating that Crowley is a "human rights expert."

Actually, it is not difficult to understand why Posner got hired? He is a "far-left zealot," but he is also working for a far-left guy in Barack Obama.

Pelosi, Biden and Other Democrats Wearing "Rubber Bracelets" in "Solidarity" Against Arizona Law - Video

Unbelievable. Here is video of Megyn Kelly pointing out that both House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Vice-President Joe Biden were wearing a "rubber bracelet" in "solidarity" against the State of Arizona's new anti-illegal immigration law when Mexican President Felipe Calderon spoke before a Joint Session of Congress!

In fact, Democrats in general have decided to wear the bracelet together to protest the new law.

How far can these folks fall? When you think they can't get more insulting and tacky toward the American people, they find a new low.

Coulter said individual photos of those Democrats who stood and applauded the President of Mexico as he denounced the state of Arizona should be used against them in the elections this Fall.

As usual, Ann tells it like it is!

Rand Paul in Contentious Interview with Stephanopoulos: "Where Do You Get Your Talking Points? The DNC?" - Video

NOTE: Sorry for the video trouble earlier.

Here is video of Kentucky GOP U.S. Senate candidate Rand Paul in an interview with George Stephanopoulos where he defended himself against the hatchet-job attacks launched on him by the media since his nomination victory.

Stephanopoulos started with a long diatribe against Paul, who began his response with "Good Morning, George. Good Morning, Robin (Roberts). When does my honeymoon period begin?"

Paul said he has been "trashed" ever since his nomination earlier this week, and said these are "DNC talking points" being used against him.

He later asked Stephanopoulos point blank, "Where do you get your talking points? The Democrat National Committee?"

Paul said he has never favored repeal of the Civil Rights Act, and challenged Stephanopoulos to "bring me on with Senator (Robert) Byrd, and we'll talk about how he filibustered the Civil Rights Act. . ."

Paul did an outstanding job here handling the hostile press. It was a mistake for him to go on a show like Rachel Maddow, because he should have known that would be a total ambush. But he made a very nice recovery here.

Latest 2010 Senate Projection Has GOP Gaining Six Seats

In our latest 2010 U.S. Senate projection, the GOP has dropped back to +6, with two states moving from "GOP Pickup" to "Tossup."

Pennsylvania and Colorado both moved back to "Tossup" on the strength of better polling for Joe Sestak (PA) and Michael Bennet (CO).

We also moved California back to "Dem Hold" because Barbara Boxer leads by more than five points on average in the last two sets of polls.

That leaves only two "Tossup" states currently held by Dems (CO, PA), and two held by the GOP (OH, FL). The other realistic pickup opportunities for the GOP in states rated as "Dem Hold" are CA, WI, CT, WA, NY-Gillibrand. Republicans will have to find a way to win four of those seven seats, in addition to the six we have already rated them to pickup, if they are to regain control of the U.S. Senate.

You can always go to our 2010 U.S. Senate Polls and Projections page to see the map and the polling information for the last 40 days.
