President Obama Says "Whether We Like It or Not, We Remain a Dominant Military Superpower" - Video 4/13/10

Longer Clip

Here is video of President Obama today at a news conference closing his "Nuclear Security Summit," where he made the odd statement that "whether we like it or not, we (United States) remain a dominant military superpower, and when conflicts break out, we get pulled into it." He makes the statement around the 1:00 mark of the longer video clip.

Whether we like it or not?

Does that mean President Obama does not like America being a "dominant military superpower?" Perhaps that is what is behind his drive to reduce America's Nuclear Arsenal, and why he does not want to move forward with development of new weapons systems in the future.

It is in the "vital national interests" of the United States to REMAIN a "dominant military superpower," not only for us, but for the good of the world.

How do people knowingly vote for such a complete idiot. Really, this moron has openly blasted reality and embraced communism in all of its' failure as the right path for this country. This is worthy of the implied double face palm. That is the look one gives when someone says something so stupid, no hand gestures are needed.

I still have no idea what his goal is here unless I am correct in assuming that he wants to completely destroy what has been the most successful republic we have ever seen. Our country.

Unbelievable....yet, believable.
What a disgrace.

Brian, thank you for posting this.

This is a peek behind the curtain.

Obama's true beliefs in an unscripted moment.

This should be sent to:
Rush, Drudge, Hotair, Ace of Spades HQ, Instapundit, NRO's The Corner, etc.

Brian, great job in getting this out there.

Thank you all for the kind words. That's a good way to describe it - "a peek behind the curtain" at how Obama truly feels.

I think many of us are reading into this too far. There's more pressing issues than obama's choice of wording in an unscripted speech. Two being Healthcare and nuclear proliferation.
Are we supporting opposition to his regime or throwing knives in the dark?
