Franklin Graham Refuses to Back Down on "Islam" Comments; Says He Speaks Out for People "Enslaved by Islam" - Video 4/22/10
Here is video of Rev. Franklin Graham on "Fox and Friends" this morning where spoke out boldly once again on the nature of the Islam.
The interview centered on the news that the Pentagon is reconsidering whether or not Graham should be allowed to speak at a National Day of Prayer event on May 6. Some Muslim members of the military have complained about Graham being invited, since he said after 9/11 that Islam is an "evil religion."
Graham distinguished between Muslim people, and the religion of Islam. Graham said he loves the people of Islam. He wants them to know that Christ died for them, and wants to give them forgiveness and eternal life:
"I want them to know that they don't have to die in a car bomb. They don't have to die in some kind of Holy War to be accepted by God - but it is through faith in Jesus Christ, and Christ alone.
When you look at Islam, I love the people of Islam, but the religion - I do not agree with the religion of Islam at all. And if you look at what the religion does just to women, women alone, it is just horrid. So, yes, I speak out for women, I speak out for people who live under Islam - that are enslaved by Islam - and I want them to know they can be free through faith in Jesus Christ and Christ alone."
Graham did not back down one iota from his statements, because he has seen the impact of Islam when it is the dominate religion in a society. It is wonderful to see someone who will not back down, even when attacked by the forces of political correctness run amok in our society.
