White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs Compares Sen. John McCain to a "Six-Year Old" - Video 3/24/10

WH Compares McCain to Six-Year-Old
Uploaded by burghnews. - Up-to-the minute news videos.
Here is video of White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs today comparing GOP Sen. John McCain to a "six-year old." Gibbs made the comment about McCain - who spent 5 1/2 years as a POW in Vietnam - because McCain said the tactics used by Democrats in ramming ObamaCare through the House has so poisoned the atmosphere in Congress that cooperation will now be difficult on other issues. Gibbs likened that to his six-year old deciding to "take his toys and go home."

How often do you get to play the POW card for McCain, especially when he's clearly at fault?

At first, it was laughable when McCain said that Republicans weren't going to cooperate anymore; most of us were surprised to hear that, somewhere, sometime, some Republicans thought they actually were cooperating this year.

But now that we know what McCain meant, it's not funny anymore. Walking out of committee hearings at 2 PM, when high-ranking members of the U.S. military, literally from around the globe, have come in to testify before Congress, and the Republicans walk out in the middle of a session.

Is that supposed to make us want to vote for the Responsible Republicans next November!

McCain needs to be put out to pasture.

It's not a card. It's a reality. There is a certain level of respect due to someone who gave 5 1/2 years of their life as a POW. I would say the same for a POW who is now a Democrat.
