McConnell Reacts to Obama's Call for Reconciliation; Says "Every Election This Fall Will Be a Referendum" on ObamaCare - Video 3/3/10
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell reacts to Obama's call for the use of reconciliation to ram the health care bill through.
McConnell said that with the use of reconciliation, "The only thing that will be bipartisan about this proposal is the opposition to it."
McConnell said that if the Democrats think using reconciliation will put this bill behind them, they are mistaken. He said, "I assure you, that if this bill is somehow passed it won't behind our Democratic friends, it will be ahead of them. Every election in America this fall will be a referendum on this issue, and there's an overwhelming likelihood that every Republican candidate will be campaigning to repeal it."
