Bill O'Reilly Says MSNBC Hired a "Bunch of Guttersnipes"; Says Obama Turning USA into a "Nanny State" - Video

Here is a very good interview with Fox News' Bill O'Reilly done ny NewsMax.com. O'Reilly was very open and direct about President Obama, saying he "likes him personally," and that he believes Obama is a "sincere guy" - he really believes in what he is doing.

But O'Reilly described what he is doing to the country this way:
“So he has taken a Western European model and he says, I like that. The nanny state. Cradle-to-grave entitlements. Everybody gets something so nobody is destitute. I’m Barack Obama and I like that, and I’m going to bring that here to the United States, which traditionally has not had it."

O'Reilly also said he was impressed with Gov. Sarah Palin when he interviewed her, but said she has hired a number of policy advisers to help her "get up to speed" of policy issues. O'Reilly said, "She recognizes she needs to do that."

When asked about MSNBC and why they are doing so poorly, O'Reilly bluntly said they have hired a lot of "bad people" who are just a "bunch of guttersnipes" that viewers just don't like to watch.

Two objections with Bill: 1) Bill says Barack is sincere. You wouldn't think so with all his lying remarks to the public. Obama is a phenomenal liar. He may be sincere to himself as far as wanting socialism, but he'll never say it openly. 2) Bill says Obama is not a socialist. Then why say that Obama wants to emulate Sweden? Why say that Obama is of the far left and wants to impose social justice -- take money from the wealthy and give it to the poor -- and impose a nanny state, if he is not a socialist? What wacky definition does Bill have regarding socialism? The government has already taken over banks, car companies and now health care. Education and energy are probably next. I think it is a point of pride with Bill but he should see Obama for who he is... a socialist. As well, Mr. Sincere also lied to Bill about Ayers and that too is something Bill should acknowledge. Nobody likes to admit being wrong but Bill would be a greater man -- he does have many good points -- if he did.
