Teen Beating Victim in Seattle Says She Asked Security Guards for Help - Video

Here is a video report on a teen Seattle beating victim who says she asked Security Guards at a Seattle Metro Bus Tunnel for help, but received none as a pack of other kids beat her unmercifully. The Security Officials says they were "limited" in what they were allowed to do. Their mandate was to only "observe and report."

The video of the beating, also shown in this video report, shows the girl trying to shield herself from the attackers by getting near a Security Guard, but the Guards just stand there as the girl is knocked down, kicked and beaten.

Seattle officials have begun a review to see if there needs to be a change in their policy and procedures.

Below is the more extensive video of the attack:

The witness in the green top is quite annoying. She comes across as having all the answers and that if she were the guards she would have jumped in but SHE WAS THERE and did NOTHING.

One statement she says sums up MODERN western culture fairly well:

She said: All of the passengers, we were all up against the side looking...like, who is going to do something

There you have it, everyone is waiting for someone else to do something whether it's the economy or stopping a beating on the street

Those guards were not guards, they were not even men, they were COWARDS.

wisdomsprince: the video stated the witness in the green top was in a bus during the attack, so what was she supposed to do? She was at some distance but saw the attack. The guards were within 3 feet of the attack, so of course her critique was valid.

3 security guards did nothing and even 2 of them even turned their back on the victime during the attack. Not one offered her first aid.

anonymous: Don't get me wrong. It's not that I'm defending the guards but the lady in the green top is a hypocrite because I'm more than confident that she wouldn't have jumped in either (just like the other witnesses that were standing around). I agree, the guards I don't disagree when it's said that the guards are cowards; i just go a little further. They were all cowards

But the attacker is a priviledged African American "victim" and any actions by the so-called observers in yellow vests would certainly be grounds for a lawsuit by some Columbia law school scum.

Just like the murders by the ft Hood member of the "religion of peace: the politically correct atmosphere created by the Lib scum is the real problem. Their time is almost at an end.

Why would you attack the witness?

This was a heinous, unnecessary, beating, wherein help was standing, as a spectator, right next to the victim.

BTW, the witness DID do what she could, she provided the tape as evidence. That was 1000 times more than those who are paid to secure the public did. Without that witness, and her tape, this crime may have gone unnoticed or un-prosecutable.

I could care LESS what the security guards 'instructions' were. To stand there and just watch is INexcusable. Even IF they really felt they personally could do nothing, why did they not immediately run for help...call the police? I suspect they may have actually been SCARED of the protagonist. I mean, for that girl to be attackign another girl like that in full view of others, especially SECURITY guards....clearly she is a 'crazy' girl with some serious issues. I bet the guards were afraid she'd begin attacking THEM! They are wimps and should be ashamed of themselves.

That's capitalism, for you. "Don't do anything to help because then we may get sued." Gotta save that money!

These "Security Guards" should be ashamed to call themselves MEN! They sure didn't look manly to me. And don't give me the ex- cuse that their MANDATE is to OBSERVE AND REPORT. Would they have just stood by and watched as their own daughters or nieces were assaulted like that? I seriously think not! Not only were they not men, I question whether or not they were even human!!!

Call Olympic Security
Tell them how you feel.
For a real laugh check out their web site how they claim to respond quickly to emergencies ..

Specking as a Security guard I’ll tell you this. Most Security out there is very limited in what they are and are not aloud to do, as far as what there companies, clients, City and or Sate allow them to do! They are not cops and most often have fewer rights to help people then a privet citizen while on duty. Less they want to spend jail and or law suit time on there hands. It seems they were doing the job as they were allowed to do it. I bet if they were not not afraid of legal problems and given the tools (Mace, Baton and maybe a Gun) to defend them self’s they would have and helped a young lady out. But sadly most security officers out there are only able to OBSERVAT and REOPRT thanks to the law suits of the self righteous out there. I am an armed commissioned security officer in the sate of TEXAS and would have had the tools and training to stop what had happened. Sadly even in my Sate there are far less Commissioned security officers then there is the type of security officers that had to stand there and watch what happened that day. If you want to talk big talk and walk big walk that’s fine but you better learn the laws of your sate and if you need help and see a security officer that does not have a gun on his or her hip yell help and keep running because he can not help you.
