Michelle Obama Tells Larry King She Does Not "Have a Read" on Sarah Palin - Video 2/9/10

Here is video of Michelle Obama on Larry King last night where she was asked to give "her read" on former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

She responded, "I don't have a read," because she said she tries not to comment on someone who she has not really had any "personal interaction" with.

King tried again, but Michelle Obama again said, "I don't know her," and refused to really answer the question.

She also went on to discuss childhood obesity, and commented about her own children and their pediatrician pulling her aside to tell her that the "BMI" (Body Mass Index) of her own kids had "ticked up" back during the Presidential Campaign.

If this woman were smart, she would continue to keep her mouth shut, even praise that a woman is finally close to breaking the glass ceiling.

I cannot imagine Laura Bush ever complaining about any of George Bush's many many political opponents.

And to top it off, as a strong female contender for the presidency, should this classless woman go after Palin, the backlash will be severe.

I dont ever remember a first lady going after her husband's political opponents, and in this case its the first female presidential contender.

Of course, I doubt a woman who considers America "arrogant" has any common sense or any sense of what makes America tick, so if she is stupid enough and classless enough to attack Palin, she will prove to be one of the dumbest people I have seen.

THE poster above please realize that she did say she is glad there are strong female voices out there. And check the polls, Michelle is waaayyy more popular than Sarah...and I aint no fan of her husband but she seem nice

hey poster #2. Michelle ain't running for anything. Her polls don't matter one bit. She wants to lecture America, by all means go head, if anyone is listening.

Maybe she is finally proud to be American the second time in her life.

Actually, Palin is the second most popular in the polls with Oprah being first and Mitchell being fourth. Mitchell portrays herself and her family as average. That is far from the truth. But that is the image she wants to project to the American public and that is what you'll see in glossy magazines. This is just photo-op. She says they are average but that's far from the truth. For example, she was paid $300,000 as a diversity coordinator in a Chicago hospital. She said that was her "community work" which was more important than working in the private sector as a lawyer (which as a lawyer she would only have made $100,000 tops based on her experience and education). When Barrack got elected to the Senate she got a $70,0000 raise and was then making $370,000. Yeah, my heart goes out to those poor community workers -- such a tough life.

Bottom line: they come from privilege (connections to Mayor Daley) and with her, she has the temerity to say that before Barrack was elected president she was ashamed of America. What other country can you get such great "community work" jobs? Or the opportunity to get such jobs? She should be ashamed.

yes.

okra is 1st -- I suspect that will go down even more after she off next year.

Palin is close second
Hillary is pretty much tied to Sarah

and then like 6 or 7% for this woman who thinks America is "arrogant and mean"

I can't stand this woman or her husband, but I give her props for at least being smarter than her husband (not saying much) this time and keeping her mouth shut and refraining to criticize Palin.
