Harry Reid Trailing All Four Possible GOP Challengers in Nevada; Nevada Rated a "GOP Pickup" for Now
New Rasmussen polling out of Nevada shows incumbent Democrat Sen. Harry Reid trailing all four possible Republican challengers! Reid may be the powerful Senate Majority Leader, but he has a real problem brewing in his home state of Nevada.
We have added the new polling data to the "2010 Midterm Election Polls and Projections" Table near the bottom of this homepage (scroll down). The two most likely opponents to Reid are Sue Lowden and Danny Tarkanian.
Reid trails Lowden 45%-39%, and he trails Tarkanian by an even larger margin of 47%-39%. We have projected Nevada as a "GOP Pickup" for now. We'll see how the polling holds up as the year wears on. It would obviously be a huge coup for the GOP to knock off the sitting Senate Majority Leader. If that happens, you can be sure it is a huge night across the board for Republicans.
