Ed Rollins Says there are "No RINOS" Left in the Republican Party - Video

Here is video of GOP Strategist Ed Rollins saying that there really are "no RINOS" (Republicans in Name Only) left in the Republican Party. He made the remark after John Avlon of "The Daily Beast" said that the Tea Party Movement is determined to run "RINOS" out of the Republican Party.

I'm not sure many conservative Republicans would agree with that statement!

well, I am not sure what this even means??

But as a former democrat, now Independent, I will be voting for all conservatives/republicans this november. And this is the only the second time in my voting record I will be voting for conservatives/repubs.

Seriously, the Tea Party movement is attracting so many moderate/conservative dems and Independents as well. I don't understand why these fools keep insulting me?

Is this their 2010 strategy? Insult voters?

To Anonymous: The problem with RINO's and why I personally have a problem with them is this:

When you elect a Republican you expect them to follow the party platform. I live in a heavily Republican County. You can not get elected without the (R) by your name. We have had a lot of liberal Democrats switch parties to get elected. Then they drag in friends, family, and supporters so that they can continue to get elected. You said you are an independent. Not a Republican. Therefore you cannot be considered a RINO, wishy-washy yes, but not a RINO. We are not trying to insult voters. Everyone in this country has the right to believe the way they wish. All I ask is call a spade a spade. If you are a Conservative, the Republican party is the best place to be. If you are a liberal, the democrats are the best for you.

Hope this helps.

2012 Possible GOP Contenders: Power Rankings

Here is a list of possible GOP Contenders for the 2012 Republican Nomination for President. They are listed in “Power Ranked” order based on our subjective analysis of how strong the candidates would be should they decide to seek the nomination. The rankings are NOT based on how strong the candidates would be in winning in a General Election against President Obama. The rankings will be adjusted day to day as events and information warrant. Rankings do not indicate an endorsement or preference for a particular candidate. Candidates included are those who have either indicated they may run, or individuals for which there is great speculation they will run.
