Here is video of Suffolk University's Political Research Center Director David Paleologos explaining their new poll showing GOP Candidate Scott Brown leading the Massachusetts Senate Race to fill the seat formerly held by the late Sen. Ted Kennedy.
The poll found Brown leading Democrat Martha Coakley 50%-46%, a shocker in the strongly blue state of Massachusetts.
Paleologos said opposition to Obama's push for Government Health Care is driving support for Brown, and also said the Kennedy family endorsement for Coakley actually is making voters less likely to support Coakley by a 27%-20% margin. In general, you can tell from the tone of both the Director and the reporters that they are truly stunned at the momentum Brown has, and the prospect that a Republican could win in Massachusetts.
Another new poll actually shows Brown surging to a 15%-point lead.
