Obama Uses Weekly Address to Blast U.S. Supreme Court for Ruling Giving Free Speech Rights to Corporations - Video 1/23/10
Here is video of President Obama's Weekly Address, which he used to blast the U.S Supreme Court for their decision to allow Corporations to have First Amendment rights in political campaigns. Obama called the decision "devastating," and he said it would allow "special interests" to have more sway in our elections.
Barack Obama is the last person who should criticize this decision. He is fine with laws that favor his supporters, and allow people like George Soros to have such influence in elections. This Supreme Court decision will allow Corporations to defend the interests of millions of workers who depend on the well-being of those companies to keep a job and take care of their families. The Democrats are just upset that their anti-Free Enterprise, anti-Business policies can now be attacked by the targets of their assault on the Free Market system in this country.
