MSNBC's Ed Schultz Says if Brown Nabs "Kennedy Seat" in MA, it's the "End of 'Change' as We Know It" - Video 1/15/10

Here is video of Ed Schultz talking to longtime Democrat consultant Bob Shrum and NBC reporter Kelly O'Donnell about the chances of Scott Brown winning the Massachusetts Senate Race on Tuesday. You can tell from their tone and their faces that the Democrats are truly terrified at the prospect of losing "Ted Kennedy's" Senate Seat.

Schultz said it is "an unbelievable scenario" that may be playing out in Massachusetts, that it could be that Health Care Reform will be derailed by the vote from "Ted Kennedy's Senate Seat."

Schultz flatly said (2:05 mark of the video):
"If the Tea Party endorsed candidate nabs Ted Kennedy's seat in Massachusetts, it's the end of 'Change' as we know it - that's my take."
Shrum was really insulting toward Scott Brown, revealing just how much the Democrats despise him for daring to threaten their dominance in Massachusetts. Shrum said he believes Democrats will turn out to save the seat from the Republicans.

Is Scott Brown a Tea Party candidate? I never saw that endorsement. Just how does the non party Tea Party endorse a candidate. ED? ED?

Since I don't live in Massachusetts, I really don't care who they elect to represent them. Whoever they pick is fine.

But the rightwing's chortling that that will end healthcare reform may be a mite premature.

It may just force the House to do what I thought they should have done right after the Senate's vote on Christmas Eve:

Pass the Senate bill.

It's far from perfect. It's not what most would prefer. But, if the House passes it, it'll become law without ever having to go back to the Senate. So Brown's vote, if he gets one, won't have any effect.

Choke on it, teabaggers.

It's that kind of attitude - that the will of the American people matters not - that will sink the Democrats in 2010 and 2012. Let them do that and see the consequences that will come.

How can one say that if Scott wins that would go against what all the people of MS believe. Where did you get your education. If he wins that means that the people of MS are speaking out and saying we don't go with the Obama direction. That was a stupid comment. Can we start listening to what the people are saying and stop with the I don't care what the people are saying I want what I want done.
