Mark Halperin: "Thin-Skinned" Obama Increasingly Says "the Press is Against Me" - Video 1/25/10
Here is video of Mark Halperin on The Charlie Rose Show yesterday where he actually said that a "thin-skinned" President Barack Obama "increasingly says that "the Press is against me."" I kid you not!
Halperin told Rose that Obama is the first modern President to get to the Oval Office never to have really experienced the scrutiny of the media. Rose asked him why that was so, and Halperin would not say the obvious - that the media determined to support and assist in the election of Barack Obama. Instead, he said Obama had "not been in public life very long," and that he had a "charmed" Senate Race and a "charmed" Presidential Campaign.

Why not just say it. You know you want to. He led this "charmed" campaign because THE PRESS LOVED HIM! A progressive, left leaning educated, well-spoken black man. It is the 500 pound gorilla in the room....that no one is talking about. But this was amazing to hear on Charlie Rose show...thanks for posting.
I was surprised to hear this - it is encouraging to maybe see the press be more realistic and open about Obama for a change.
