Fox News' Brit Hume Urges Tiger Woods to "Turn to the Christian Faith" - Video 1/3/10

Here is video of Fox News' Brit Hume today on Fox News Sunday, where he urged Tiger Woods to "turn to the Christian faith" to put his life back together. Hume said he understands Woods is a Buddhist - which he said he does not think offers the kind of forgiveness and redemption Woods needs. "My message to Tiger would be, 'Tiger, turn to the Christian faith and you can make a total recovery and be a great example to the world."

You have to admire Brit Hume for not being afraid to share his own faith and to say very directly what he believes the answer to be for Tiger Woods.

You are all kidding, right? You endorse this kind of behavior? You think it is okay for Brit Hume to recommend Tiger give up his faith as a way to be "redeemed"? Tell me something.... should Ted Haggerty have given up Christianity as a way to redeem his scandalous lifestyle? Seems obvious that his religion didn't work for him.

I don't think I've ever seen anything so unprofessional. I'm so ashamed of being Christian right now that I'm thinking of converting to Buddhism.

Brit Hume was giving personal commentary and shared his own view as to how Tiger Woods can find redemption and forgiveness. No one has to take his advice, but he is perfectly free to share it.

Scoff if you wish. But Brit Hume is simply "one beggar telling another beggar where he found bread."

Bhuddism beats Christianity hands down.

Funny how somebody can think thier religion is superior with obviously a complete ignorance of other religion(s). Like a doctor that only knows about one drug to prescribe. What a crock. How does Fox News stay on the air?

Bravo Brit!

I would be interested in hearing from the so called "Christians" here on what they belive Jesus had to say about other "faiths" leading to salvation?
