Ted Kennedy's Name Booed at Town Hall; Turning "ObamaCare" into "KennedyCare" Won't Work - Video

Here is video of the late Sen. Ted Kennedy's name being booed when it was invoked by Illinois Democrat Rep. Jan Schakowsky's Town Hall Meeting yesterday as a reason to pass ObamaCare.

I think this shows that if the Democrats hope to turn ObamaCare into "KennedyCare" and get it passed, it's not going to work. Ted Kennedy was simply not a beloved figure for most of the American people. Invoking his name will not win over conservatives and most independents. In fact, it very well might drive people away.

Video of Van Jones Speech in February 09 Shows Him Mocking Capitalism and Urging Intimidation of Lawmakers - Video

Here is video of President Obama's "Green Jobs Czar" speaking this past February (2009) in Berkeley at an Energy Resources Cooperative Meeting" where he openly mocked "Capitalism," saying "How's that Capitalism working for you this year" to a member of the audience. He makes the comment toward the end of the video.

Also toward the end of the video, he called Republicans "A**holes," and essentially said Obama Supporters need to intimidate the two or three senators that can swing legislation on key votes. He said:

"Some of us need to figure out which 2 or 3 Senators need to have terrible days, until they 'act right'."

This is a man who has the President's ear. The media should be all over the story of this radical sitting at one of the highest levels in government.

"Code Pink" Leader Compliments Anti-ObamaCare Protesters; Slams Obama's Handling of Health Care as "Stupid" - Video 8/31/09

Here is video of "Code Pink" leader Medea Benjamin admitting anti-ObamaCare protesters have "been effective in making this a real national debate," but she criticized what they have said because she supports a total Government take over of Health Care ("Single-Payer system").

Benjamin also slammed Obama's approach to Health Care as "stupid," saying he should be going for the "Single-Payer" system instead of a "public option," although he could settle for that if he can't get total Government-run Health Care.

This video shows a few things. One, it it sad to compare the average citizens who have turned out to make their voices heard on ObamaCare to the radical leftists who comprise "Code Pink." The media's asking of that question shows an utter misunderstanding of what is going on.

Benjamin is right that citizens who have spoken out have succeeded in making this a true national debate, even though the Democrats never wanted one, planning instead to ram their radical Health Care bill through in two weeks time before the end of July!

The other thing the video shows is that the Left is really angry with Obama for not pressing more strongly for the total take over of Health Care. But the fact they consider the "Public Option" acceptable if that can't be attained, shows they know it will be a foot in the door that will lead to their eventual goal.

Fox News' Megyn Kelly Schools Democrat Jerrold Nadler on CIA Investigation: "Let Me Just Educate You" - Video 9/1/09

Here is video of Fox News' Megyn Kelly telling Democrat Rep. Jerrold Nadler, "Let me educate you," about the facts regarding the supposed CIA "torture" interrogations.

Kelly was talking with Nadler about former Vice-President Dick Cheney's criticism of Attorney General Eric Holder and President Obama for going forward with investigations of Bush-era CIA operatives who interrogated terrorist suspects. Kelly was "educating" Nadler about the idea that CIA agents should be subjected to investigation when they were following legal advice at the time. She also educated him that Career Prosecutors at the Department of Justice looked into this five years ago and found nothing worthy of prosecution among the agents in question now.

Nadler said he was not aware of that investigation and Kelly said, "You're not?!" "Then let me just educate you." That exchange happens just before the 6:00 minute mark of the video if you want to go right to it.

MSNBC Hosts Dumbfounded as WSJ's Taranto Suggests Dick Cheney for President in 2012 - Video 9/1/09

Here is video of James Taranto from the Wall Street Journal saying former Vice-President Dick Cheney just may be the best candidate for the GOP to run for President in 2012. Taranto was raising the question, "What if Dick Cheney is right" on the issue of using "enhanced interrogation" techniques on terrorists to keep America safe.

The MSNBC hosts were incredulous that Taranto was saying anything positive about Dick Cheney, and launched into their usual attacks on Cheney about "torture" etc. But Taranto flatly said there is no evidence of Obama claims that "enhanced interrogations" made the U.S. less safe, but there is a lot of evidence that they actually worked at saving American lives and preventing further attacks. Taranto seems to think it is likely there will be further attacks on the U.S. as a result of Obama's "much gentler policies toward terrorists," which he said he hoped did not happen. But if it does, he believes Americans will quickly turn to someone like Cheney with experience and toughness in dealing with threats to the nation.

Here is video of Chris Matthews saying Bill Clinton's voice is "the voice of God" on Health Care, and what the Democrats ought to do.

He was referring to a clip of remarks Bill Clinton made to Tennessee Democrats over the weekend in which he said that Democrats must pass some kind of Health Bill and not be seen as losing to Republicans.

Here is a video report on a Town Hall Meeting held by Sen. Harry Reid at UNLV that was "by invitation only" - and the only people invited were supporters of ObamaCare, with a heavy union presence. When one man tried to get in who was against ObamaCare, he was told to get out. That confrontation is on this report. The man told those keeping him out, that Reid was supposed to be representing him, but he was told that he was not invited and that he should get out.

Obama Approval as President Falls to Lowest Point in Rasmussen Daily Tracking Poll - 9/1/09

The latest Rasmussen Daily Tracking Poll shows President Obama falling to his lowest approval ever, with 53% now disapproving of his performance as President, and only 45% now approving. This is the "total surveyed" number, not just those who "strongly approve" or strongly disapprove." That index is at -11, with 30% "strongly approving" and 41% "strongly disapproving":

Overall, 45% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. That’s down a point from yesterday and the lowest level of total approval yet measured for Obama. Fifty-three percent (53%) now disapprove. . . . . MORE

Zogby Poll Shows Obama Declining in Support by Democrats 13% in a Single Month

A new Zogby Poll shows President Barack Obama losing support, falling to only a 42% approval rating, with 48% disapproving of the job he is doing as President, with Democrats declining in support by 13% in a single month:

President Barack Obama's job approval rating is down to 42%, with a decline in approval from Democrats the leading factor.

The latest Zogby Interactive poll of 4,518 likely voters conducted from August 28-31 found 48% disapprove and 42% approve of the job Obama is doing. The poll found 75% of Democrats approve of Obama's performance, a drop of 13 points among Democrats from an interactive poll done July 21-24 of this year. That same poll found 48% of all likely voters approving of Obama's job performance, and 49% disapproving.

In the most recent poll, 8% of Republicans and 37% of Independents approve of Obama's job performance. Both are down slightly from six weeks ago; two points among Republicans and three among Independents. . . . . MORE

Krauthammer Says Dick Cheney is Winning the Argument on "Enhanced Interrogations" - Video 8/31/09

Here is video of Charles Krauthammer saying yesterday that former Vice-President Dick Cheney is "winning" on the issue of Enhanced Interrogation - what those on the Left call "torture."

Krauthammer talks about the fact that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM) - the mastermind of the September 11 attacks - would say nothing until he was subjected to enhanced interrogation tactics (waterboarding). But afterward, Krauthammer says he became a "professor," giving information that saved untold numbers of lives from further attacks.

Krauthammer said Americans know intuitively that these tactics have kept the nation safer, and the Left is losing the argument.

Steve Moore Urges "Tea Party Express" to Keep On: "They Fear You in Washington" - Video 8/31/09

Here is video from last night where Fox News' Griff Jenkins reported to Greta Van Susteren on the "Tea Party Express" as it rolls across the country. Jenkins was reporting from Flagstaff, Arizona last night, where several thousand people turned out. The crowd was shouting "Kill the Bill" behind him as he talked with Greta.

Greta then talked to Steve Moore of the Wall Street Journal who said this Tea Party Movement is like a "Second American Revolution." He said he believes the Obama people made a "big mistake" by insulting Americans who are against ObamaCare, and that has ratcheted up the opposition.

Moore closed by urging Americans to keep turning out, saying "They hear you in Washington . . . They fear you in Washington."
