Here is a video report on the new unemployment numbers out today for November. The unemployment rate fell to 10% - down from 10.2% last month. The economy shed only 11,000 jobs, the lowest number since December 2007, and much lower than an expected 130,000.
It is unclear whether this is the beginning of a downward trend for unemployment, or whether it is a seasonal blip, due to the holidays. At any rate, it is nice to hear some good news.
