Today is the 68th anniversary of the Japanese sneak attack on Pear Harbor, December 7, 1941. The attack drew the United States into World War II. The United States suffered 2,402 killed, and 1,282 wounded. Until September 11, 2001, Pearl Harbor was the single worst enemy attack on U.S. soil in American History (not including Civil War battles). Here are some videos on the events of that day:
Excellent Documentary description of the attack done by Steve Bray:

VIDEO FROM SPEECH - "A Date Which Will Live in Infamy"
President Roosevelt said:
"No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, the American people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory. . . . With confidence in our Armed Forces, with the unbounding determination of our people, we will gain the inevitable triumph - so help us God."Oh, how we need Democrats who think like that today.
