Karl Rove Says He's "Astonished" that Obama Called the Flight 253 Attacker an "Isolated Extremist" - Video 12/28/09

Here is video of Karl Rove reacting to Obama calling the attempted Northwest Airlines flight 253 attacker an "isolated extremist."

Karl Rove said that he was "deeply troubled by the President's statement that this was an isolated extremist." Rove said "this was a member of an international effort which is determined to kill Americans in as many numbers and in as horrible of a condition as it possibly can."

Rove said he was "astonished that the President came out and dismissed this in such an offhanded way" and asked "how can you be an isolated extremist if Al-Qaeda is already claiming credit for this guy and this guy is telling the FBI that there are more like me?"
