HHS Sec. Sebelius Explains "Accounting Measure" in Senate Health Care Bill that Covers Abortions - Video 12/21/09

Thank you for clearing that up, Secretary Sebelius! Here is video of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius explaining that the Senate Health Care Bill really does contain an "accounting measure" that takes funds from everyone to provide abortion coverage. Sebelius did everything she could not to use the word "abortion," but the interviewer was lost with Sebelius' convoluted explanation, so she finally used it at the end. Essentially, Sebelius was trying to assure pro-abortion activists that the bill actually covers abortions even though they tried to make it look like it does not.

Nothing like transparency - more of that "change you can believe in."

2012 Possible GOP Contenders: Power Rankings

Here is a list of possible GOP Contenders for the 2012 Republican Nomination for President. They are listed in “Power Ranked” order based on our subjective analysis of how strong the candidates would be should they decide to seek the nomination. The rankings are NOT based on how strong the candidates would be in winning in a General Election against President Obama. The rankings will be adjusted day to day as events and information warrant. Rankings do not indicate an endorsement or preference for a particular candidate. Candidates included are those who have either indicated they may run, or individuals for which there is great speculation they will run.
