Latest update, not mentioned in this video, 3:55 PM ET - Now 12 dead and a press conference at Fort Hood just said the shooter is a U.S. Soldier and he has been killed. Two other soldiers have been apprehended and are suspects.

My heart goes out to the victims and their families. This could have been a much more terrible tragedy. Thank god some of the troops had handguns. The threat of the death penalty will deter this man from trying to kill again.
