Pastor Rick Warren One-on-One Interview with Meet the Press's David Gregory - Complete Video 11/29/09

Here is complete video of Pastor Rick Warren's one-on-one interview with David Gregory today on Meet the Press. Warren talked about his own giving and the importance of giving in a person's life, about caring for the poor and needy, and about what he called the "Holocaust" of abortion in America that has taken the lives of "46 million people."

Rick Warren is as offensive as anyone I have ever seen or heard.

He cloaks his vitriol in biblical phrases, quotes and most of which are solely his own interpretation boiled down to “What God Wants”.. as if he or anyone else has a clue what “god wants”..

Dick Gregory was disappointing to say the least.. which was a surprise as I had hopes he would nail this next Jerry Falwell evangelical FATCAT to the cross.. pun intended..

Warren is a homophobe extraordinaire.. and his comparison to “aborted fetuses” to the holocaust is disgusting to say the least.. comparing unborn.. or never born.. to actual living people is freakish yet insightful to his warped sense of being.

I would like to see more substance from this fraud.. What does Mr. Warren think about the women who have aborted.. are they each a mini version of Hitler.. since after all.. it was a holocaust.. ?

The doctors.. do they go to hell.. for eternity with these women..

I rejected the Christian religion based on men like Mr. Warren.. who hide their intolerance, ignorance and hate in their self righteousness.. and behind a book written by men.. to control men.. through fear and intimidation.

Sorry Gregory didn’t do his job.. and expose this guy for what he is.. Purpose Driven Life my ass.. I have a copy.. given to me by a Christian friend I plan on placing it in the recyle bin today.. I tried to read it half a dozen times.. if you can’t figure out how to move through the world in a positive way without this book.. you deserve the likes of Rick Warren and all his kind.

Warren made a very coherent argument on abortion. If you believe an unborn child is a living person, then you quite logically believe that the killing of 46 million babies is akin to a "holocaust." I believe the unborn are "actual living people" to use your words, and therefore the killing of the unborn is a slaughter of innocents.

His point that it makes no sense to say you want abortion to be "legal but rare." Why? If the unborn is not a living person, what difference does it make? But if the unborn baby is a living person, then it must be opposed.

Millions of Americans, and billions around the world, believe the Bible is not just a book "written by men." Rather, it is God's Word, from His heart to ours.

I would not purport to speak for Rick Warren, but I know that evangelical Christians believe the only reason a person "goes to hell" is if they reject the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.
