Here is video of Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet on CNN saying that he will support the Health Care Bill even if it means that he will lose his re-election bid next year.

What state is he from? Perhaps voters there could help him in his future career opportunities outside of gov't?

I mean know I could google this info .. but a better post would have included this.

Great site anyway. I'll plug it at American Conservative on FACEBOOK.

Michael Bennet is from my state, Colorado. He was appointed to replace Sen. Ken Salazer when Salazer became Secretary of the Interior.

Bennet isn't a career politician, and he may well lose in a primary next time around to the ex-Speaker of the (Colorado) House, Andrew Romanoff. But whoever wins that primary will be the next Senator. The GOP can't avoid tripping on their own two feet in this state, lately. (Remember, we're also the home of the late and unlamented Marilyn Musgrave and Tom Tancredo!)
