Chris Matthews Calls Obama's "Dithering" over Afghanistan "too much Chamberlain and not enough Churchill" - Video
Here is video of MSNBC's Chris Matthews comparing President Obama's "dithering" on making a decision on sending reinforcements to Afghanistan to British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain's appeasement of Adolph Hitler in the run-up to World War II.
Matthews characterized Obama's performance as "too much Chamberlain and not enough Churchill."
Exactly, Chris! You finally got it right!
Just for good measure, since Chris brought it up, below is video of Neville Chamberlain's "peace in our time" declaration after using his diplomatic negotiating skills to talk face-to-face with a tyrant like Hitler. We know how well that worked out for everyone:

Did Matthews sober up? Not really. He's just pretending that he can criticize his idol. Notice that he asks will Obama look smart and deliberative for having taken so long, but he doesn't ask if he will look like a ditherer, but if the dithering shot will still be taken by people like Cheney and others. (emphasis mine)
