Pelosi Reminds Americans "I'm the First Woman Speaker of the House" - Video 10/8/09

Here is video of Nancy Pelosi today reminding all Americans - just in case we forgot - that she is the "first woman Speaker of the House."

"I'm in my place," she said, as she reacted to GOP critics who said Gen. Stanley McChrystal should "put her in her place," as a result of her comments slamming Gen. McChrystal over his London response to a question about Strategy in Afghanistan.

Pelosi said:

"That language is something I haven't even heard in decades." "I'm in my place. I'm the Speaker of the House, the first woman Speaker of the House. And I'm in my place because the House of Representatives voted me there."

We are all so proud of Nancy, aren't we? She's not only the first woman Speaker of the House, she's so humble and self-effacing too!

Relly, ms pelosi, I'd love to put you in your place, and that would be right out in front of our brave troops. You're a disgrace in more ways than one. You don't speak for this American woman.

Proud US Army - USAF, mom.
