Obama as Candidate Pledged Not to Pass ObamaCare with "Fifty Plus One Strategy" - Audio 2007

Here is audio of Barack Obama as a candidate in 2007 where he said flatly "we are not going to pass universal health care with a fifty plus one strategy." Obama said "you can't govern" if you go about things in that way.

But now, of course, the Democrats are contemplating the use of just such a "Nuclear Option" to ram ObamaCare through.

I'll be shocked when Obama is not lying on anything. He just says whatever because words aren't important -- star quality is! Wins them every time.

You know what they call 50+1? A majority. It's not Obama's fault that ALL Republicans refuse to compromise at all. We're not going to let GOP recalcitrance derail everything.

If republicans oppose Obama's fascist Policy's that is good. I want him to fail. Obama is a fascist that wants power and control over everybody and everything. The Majority if Americans are against him now.

The majority of Americans are NOT against him. You'd hear nonsense like that on Faux, but nowhere else. And gee, where'd you come up with an 'original' line like "I eant him to fail"? That is soooooooo insightful!

The majority of Americans are against him you stupid. What you watch is the state run government who don't even report the news. All they do is lie to you. I hope he Obama fails. The way the state run media presents the news is make conservatism is a small and fringe group. Your stuck in your own cocoon, blind and ignorant to the truth.

All these are nonsense. Nothing truth in it.

2012 Possible GOP Contenders: Power Rankings

Here is a list of possible GOP Contenders for the 2012 Republican Nomination for President. They are listed in “Power Ranked” order based on our subjective analysis of how strong the candidates would be should they decide to seek the nomination. The rankings are NOT based on how strong the candidates would be in winning in a General Election against President Obama. The rankings will be adjusted day to day as events and information warrant. Rankings do not indicate an endorsement or preference for a particular candidate. Candidates included are those who have either indicated they may run, or individuals for which there is great speculation they will run.
