Nancy Pelosi Slams Gen. McChrystal with "All Due Respect" - Video

Here is video of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on the Charlie Rose Show slamming Gen. Stanley McChrystal "with all due respect." Pelosi praised the proposed strategy for Afghanistan being put forward by Vice-President Joe Biden as one that "has currency" among the American people and members of Congress.

She then said Gen. McChrystal should be giving advice to the President "through the chain of command," not "in press conferences." She was slamming comments made by McChrystal during a Q & A session in London following a speech he gave there last week. McChrystal never mentioned Biden's name, but was asked by a participant if he favored a strategy that would use fewer boots on the ground in Afghanistan, but concentrate efforts only on attacking Al-Qaeda. This strategy would essentially allow the Taliban to retake control of the country.

NOTE: Pelosi came off here as her usual "Wicked Witch of the West" self. It is truly frightening to think people who think like Pelosi are now running U.S. Foreign Policy, and our military are at the mercy of their convoluted thinking and decision-making. Common sense tells you that if we allow the Taliban to return to full control of Afghanistan, Al-Qaeda will have full run of the country once again, as they did leading up to September 11, 2001.

Ms Speaker...ALL DO RESPECT.....maybe he has been trying to tell the chain of command but since the President doesn't really talk to him maybe this was his way of getting out in the open for people to start knowing the conditions over there!

There's several layers of command in that chain, long before it gets to the President. The guy is a loose cannon and deserves to have his knuckles rapped for this.
