Jimmy Carter Denies Ever Saying Opposition to Obama Because of Racism - Video 10/1/09

Here is video of former President Jimmy Carter talking with CNN's Candy Crowley and denying that he ever accused those who oppose President Obama of doing so because of racist motivation. In fact, he repeatedly corrected Crowley in saying he did not say what he actually said! Carter claims he was only talking about the "fringe element," not most people. But that is not what he said in the interview with NBC's Brian Williams. He said an overwhelming amount of the animosity directed at Obama is because he is a "black man."

Check out the video below and listen to what he said for yourself:

President Carter has spent the almost 40 years since he was removed from office by the voters, decrying his country. You'd almost think this man was French!
I wasted a lot of time trying to figure him out, but he is just now becoming clear to me - I believe his hugely inflated ego was so severely bruised by his defeat in office that he cannot now keep his foolish mouth shut. He just keeps on blabbing and criticizing and criticizing and blabbing. I seriously doubt that he will stop even when he's in his grave.
He is a huge embarrassment to the presidency and to this country. The Nobel selection committee made a grave, grave error.
