Huffington Explains why Biden Should Resign as VP if Obama Sends More Troops to Afghanistan - Video 10/16/09

Here is video of Arianne Huffington on the "Ed Show" last night, where she explained to liberal Ed Schultz why she has written that Vice-President Joe Biden should resign from office if President Obama decides to send 40,000 more troops to Afghanistan, as requested by Gen. Stanley McChrystal. Biden has opposed increasing troops to afghanistan, and isead wants more focus on Al-Qaeda in Pakistan.

Schultz was disbelieving that Huffington would advocate this, and told her "We're talking about Joe Biden. We're not talking about Sarah Palin. Joe Biden is not a quitter."

Palin is not a "quitter" simply because she resigned as Governor for what she believed was the good of the people of Alaska. The continued attacks on her by the Left show they are still very concerned about her and see her as a threat. Otherwise, they would just ignore her.

Huffington is essentially saying Biden should "put up or shut up." If he's going to make policy statements and advocate giving up on Afghanistan and ceding control of the country back to the Taliban, then he ought to get out as Vice-President if Obama goes in a completely different direction.

Another ruse as they're actually more afraid Biden will accidentally tell the truth than anything else.

Oh Oh Arianne, there you go again!
When your husband spent millions and then lost the election in California years ago, you sobbed and made the voters know they made the right choice by dumping him and you. Now you are a 'big time
expert' and telling the Vice President to resign...too bad you didn't tell that to your husband before he spent and wasted millions trying to get a $80,000 dollar a year job. HUM-M-M-M ?
Just think how much good and popular you and he would have been
if the both of you had bought food
for needy families with all those
millions wasted..Who knows you might have been elected.

2012 Possible GOP Contenders: Power Rankings

Here is a list of possible GOP Contenders for the 2012 Republican Nomination for President. They are listed in “Power Ranked” order based on our subjective analysis of how strong the candidates would be should they decide to seek the nomination. The rankings are NOT based on how strong the candidates would be in winning in a General Election against President Obama. The rankings will be adjusted day to day as events and information warrant. Rankings do not indicate an endorsement or preference for a particular candidate. Candidates included are those who have either indicated they may run, or individuals for which there is great speculation they will run.
