Britain's Lord Monckton Warns Glenn Beck about Dangers of Climate Change Treaty - Video 10/30/09

Here is video from Glenn Beck's show today where he focused on the bizarre plans by President Obama to sign onto the Climate Change Treaty in Copenhagen at a world conference to be held December 7-18. Beck had former U.S. Ambassador John Bolton and Britain's Lord Monckton, a Climate Change expert, and a former adviser to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

Monckton warns that signing the treaty will begin the process of giving up U.S. Sovereignty to a world body that will have the power to impact U.S. financial markets and the greater U.S. Economy. He said it currently contains the power for the body to levy a 2% tax on nations and to impose penalties for C02 emissions.

Bolton thinks the treaty is dangerous, but is not prepared to go as far as Monckton yet. But he said it does have the potential to do great damage. Even if Obama signs it, it would require a two-thirds vote of the U.S. Senate to ratify the treaty and make us bound to the terms. Fascinating discussion.

Oh, good Lord! Someone who's too extreme for John Bolton to go along with??? That's virtually impossible!!!!

This Monckton clown may be as big a clown and a fraud as Beck. He has NO scientific training or experience at all -- he graduated with a degree in journalism and spent his entire career as a newspaper guy, until his daddy died and he inherited the "Lord" business. And, when he ran for an open seat in the House of Lords, he didn't get a single vote!

"During the autumn of 2009, Monckton embarked on a tour of North America to campaign against the December 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference. His warning that US President Barack Obama intended to sign a treaty at the conference which would "impose a communist world government on the world" was picked up by numerous commentators on the American right and "rocketed around the fringe" of right-wing websites, prompting Glenn Beck to invite him on his radio show again. Writing in Salon, Alex Koppelman criticized Monckton's assertions about the conference's framework for negotiation as being "woefully inaccurate. And that's a nice way of putting it." The St. Petersburg Times's PolitiFact.com described his assertions as "not only unsupported but preposterous" and awarded him a special rating of "britches on fire". Ethan Baron of the Canadian newspaper The Province criticized Monckton's assertions as the product of a "whacked-out, far-right ideology, combined with an ego the size of the Antarctic ice sheet."

Yeah, let''s listen to what this English twit has to say about America!

To the anonymous who called Lord Monckton a "clown" and "fraud". If you and alike are so convinced on the global warming assertions, why is it one of the global warming founding fathers, Al Gore, refuses to debate Lord Monckton on the issue. A civil debate with both sides presenting their case would benefit all. Instead the game plan is to insult, ridicule and contend the "debate is over". The Global Warmers game plan has been exposed and no longer will the masses continue to be pushed around. Come on, get Al to the debate and present the evidence.
