Ana Marie Cox Attacks Fox News' Coverage of Jennings Story as "Persecuting Someone Because He's Gay" - Video

Here is video of Air America's Ana Marie Cox on CNN talking about Fox News and their coverage of ACORN and Jennings.

Ana Marie said "the ACORN story they covered during the campaign was not really a story...there were not people being signed up to vote for Obama." She went on to say "I have to say something about this Jennings story, because I think it's really offensive, they're persecuting someone because he's gay."

Air America's pro man-boy love? What's with so many of the American media being in favor of child molestation?

With every speech and interview it becomes more and more clear that the left is moving farther and farther away from common sense and intellectual honesty

So.... Hmmm.. Let's get this one straight. Or crooked, whatever.... If someone is gay, they did something that only a blithering idiot would do and they are criticized by Fox, it's because he's gay that he is criticized. If someone is black, he he lies all the time, and they are criticized, they are racist.

Glad the Left is always there to clear things up.

No, it's not that at all.

Jennings is gay. He isn't a pedophile. But the Johnny One-Notes in the far right conflate the two. THAT'S what's unfair. What's unfair is idiots like Louie Gohmert (Cretin-Texas) who perversely announced that giving people some legal protections for their homosexual orientation would somehow entail others to gain protection for pedophilia and bestiality.

Being homosexual doesn't mean you promote pedophila. Or bestiality. Or that most reprehensible of all sexual perversions: being a Republican.

Jennings first concern was for the safety of the student. The student was not raped, as per the law of that state.

All of you who berate Jennings, if a teacher alerted the police that your 16 yr old son had had sex with an older man, how would you react? How traumatized would you son be by the whole event, compounded by your disapproval, or worse, and the sudden outting? Would you persecute the teacher who did it if you found out he was gay?

Before you jump all over Jennings whose first instinct was to ask about the boy's safety (safe sex), ask yourself these questions and try to understand the circumstances. Sadly, I doubt you ever will.

Though it is true that not all homosexuals are pedophiles, it is also true that the majority of convicted pedophiles are homosexual. So the concern is a legitimate one. Especially in this case, since Jennings former(?)affiliation with NAMBLA is a known factor

>"if a teacher alerted the police that your 16 yr old son had had sex with an older man, how would you react?"

I can answer that with great ease. I would give the police and justice system orders to arrest the perpetrator, charge him with every one of the crimes he is guilty of, put him on trial, convict him and lock that low-life, slime-ball, SOB piece of refuse away in isolation for the rest of his life.

Now if I were to find out that a second low-life, slime-ball, SOB piece of refuse like, this so called teacher, Jennings, had tried to cover the whole thing up like he did, Then I would also give the police and justice system the same orders, to arrest him, charge him as an accessories after the fact, for aiding and abetting, and any and every other related crimanl acts he is guilty of, put him on trial, convict him and lock him away in isolation for the rest of his life.

If the police and justice system fail to do so, then just let me say that when the law fails to protect the people and/or their families, then people have an absolute right to do whatever is necessary to protect themselves.

Any shame, embarrassment or trauma a child may feel as a result of his or her choice to act out is on his or her shoulders. And the behavior in this particular situation is no different. It like all acts of disobedience to GOD’s word is a choice. Predilection, preference, or predisposition, call it what you will, it does not negate his or her ability to make a choose, nor does it abrogate his or her responsibility for the results of the choice he or she makes. This is not a cold and uncaring position to hold to. It is a simple fact of life that parents must teach to their children.

Every individual has to decide for themselves whether they will live according to their own self-centered desires and/or animalistic lusts, OR whether they will live according to the standard set forth for all of us by GOD. We must each decide if we will live like a mere animal that has no choice, or if we will live as a thinking moral human being capable of choosing for ourselves what path we will walk.

As a parent, I am not, nor can I be, required to approve of what I know to be wrong, a crime, a sin, a perversion or an abomination in the sight of GOD. On the contrary, I have a duty to provide for and protect my children, and to teach them right from wrong, good from evil, GODly wisdom from sin, and thereby prepare them to serve GOD and to be good citizens.

What a child decides to do or be once he or she has grown, left home and is standing on his or her own two feet is for him or her to choose. But as long as my children lived under my care, provision and protection, they were expected to abide by and follow the same rules that I follow, and to live according to same standards that I am expected to live by.

No Subject, you apparently have No Brains.

"Though it is true that not all homosexuals are pedophiles, it is also true that the majority of convicted pedophiles are homosexual. " Actually, just the reverse is true. More pedophiles are heterosexual than homosexual.

"I would give the police and justice system orders to arrest the perpetrator, charge him with every one of the crimes he is guilty of, put him on trial, convict him and lock that low-life, slime-ball, SOB piece of refuse away in isolation for the rest of his life." First off, you as an individual don't "give orders" to the police or the justice system. And the fact of the matter is that, apparently, no crimes were committed in the case you're blathering on about. So there ISN'T any law under which you could arrest, try, and imprison anybody for. Nor could you do likewise for Jennings, since what he did wasn't a crime, either.

"If the police and justice system fail to do so, then just let me say that when the law fails to protect the people and/or their families, then people have an absolute right to do whatever is necessary to protect themselves."

YEAH! Vigilantism at its finest! "There's no law that's been broken, so I'll take the law into my own hands, make myself judge, jury and executioner, and be done with the scum!" That's just a great approach.

But what if YOU'RE the scum that others feel should be taken care of?

As for your fire and brimstone Elmer Gantry imitation, give it a rest. GOD (gee, don't you just love the ALL CAPS?) hasn't designated you as Her official spokesperson.
