Rush Limbaugh Calls Jimmy Carter "The Nation's Hemorrhoid" - Audio 9/16/09
Here is audio of Rush Limbaugh saying that Jimmy Carter is "the Nation's hemorrhoid, and we don't have a tube of Prep H big enough to deal with it." He made the remarks in response to Jimmy Carter saying that most of the opposition to President Obama is because he is "a black man."

Loved it... Yes, I did. How wonderful there is someone like Rush to call it like it is and not have to apologize... we still live in a free country and Jimmy Carter was the worst president we ever had and he is an anti-semite (supports the PLO)... We had 13% inflation rate and over 20% interest rates on buying home... I lived through this and it was BAD and he deserves the name Rush gave him.. go back to peanut farming and stop making comments to foment racial hatred you damn IDIOT!!!
Somewhat related: The democrats are calling Joe Wilson a racist for yelling "you lie" during Obama's health care speech.
Now a republican senator agrees with the censure of Wilson.
Guess who?

Rush Limmbaugh is unkind, inaccurate and a poor example of what a commentator should be. I am sure his mother did not raise him to speak in this manner; however, he does it not for her but for money. That is what motivates him. SEO
The bottom line is that neither Limbaugh's nor Wilson's behavior contributes to public discourse. You can find constructive ways to disagree with someone -- you can even find a constructive (or at least polite) way to express your dislike of an individual or group. Or you can forget the whole notion of dialogue and indulge in Rush's dressed-up version of hangin' out with your buds and shouting at passing cars.
I suspect both Limbaugh and Wilson understand this, which makes their antics even sadder.
