Here is video of Michael Steele on "Face the Nation" talking about Obama asking Governor David Paterson (D-NY) not to run in 2010.
Steele said "I found that to be stunning, that the White House would send word to one of only two black Governors in the Country not to run for re-election."

He's dead on that there's a primary to do first and he can be outed there which lends itself to speculation of what's Patterson likely to say that has the current incarnation of POTUS so rattled as to personally inject himself in this manner?
