Glenn Beck Responds to Nancy Pelosi's "Tears for Fear" with Milk, a Twinkie, and KoolAid - Video 9/18/09

Here is video of Glenn Beck today responding to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's "Tears of Fear" statement yesterday. He responded to her with a glass of milk, a twinkie, and a glass of koolaid.

The milk was because it was Harvey Milk in San Francisco who was murdered - that Nancy Pelosi was referring to. He was murdered by a Democrat whose defense was the "twinkie defense" - saying he was out of his mind on a sugar high. The Koolaid was to represent those who followed Jim Jones to their death at around the same time. It was also a metaphor for those who, like Pelosi, are following the disastrous ideology of the radical Left, led by President Obama and the radicals he has assembled in Washington.

As usual, Glen is right on the mark. Of course I would have brought up the fact that Pelosi and her ilk were not "watching their words" when calling President Bush a terrorist and a nazi, when liberals marched with signs suggesting that President Bush should be killed in his own home.. where was Pelosi then, was she imploring people to "watch their words" ? No, she was booing and hissing Bush with her colleauges..but her memory is conveniently short.

God I love this guy. What a gift to the republic.

Yeah, a gift. Like syphilis.

Ah but Diogenes is he wrong? Not at all. Do your own Google on that timeline and you'll find the same. Can't blame Glenn Beck one bit for Nancy Pelosi and her staff being stupid enough to blubber away without thinking at all of the subject matter which she was so traumatized by. She wasn't out on a fact there. She was completely out to lunch.

,Diogenes- you have a cognitive dissonance problem- Glenn was spot on in his dissection of the problem the liberals face.
Like children who just have this compulsion to carve their initials on the dining room table, they cannot seem to understand something as beautifully simple as the Constitution, nor even the concept of personal responsibility in everyday acts.
Instead, they want an excuse to distance themselves from the results and consequences of their actions, and they have such wonderful excuses- ADD, ADHD, bi- polar tendencies- anything will work for them. As you have seen, even twinkies.
Perhaps now is the time when all liberals could grow a conscience AND a sense of responsibility, and, as we say, man up.
It can do you a world of good.
