Sen. John McCain Says Ted Kennedy was "the Most Reliable, Prepared, and Persistent Member of the Senate" - Video 8/28/09

Here is video of Sen. John McCain speaking tonight at the memorial service held at the John F. Kennedy Library in Boston for Sen. Ted Kennedy.

McCain said Ted Kennedy "was good company, excellent company," and McCain said he would miss him "more than I can say."

McCain said Kennedy was "hard to ignore." He talked about working with Kennedy on the Immigration Reform Bill and said that Kennedy was totally reliable to keep his word and try to make others, including members of his own party, keep their word too.

McCain called Kennedy the most "reliable, the most prepared, and the most persistent member of the Senate." He close by saying the Senate will not be the same without him.

2012 Possible GOP Contenders: Power Rankings

Here is a list of possible GOP Contenders for the 2012 Republican Nomination for President. They are listed in “Power Ranked” order based on our subjective analysis of how strong the candidates would be should they decide to seek the nomination. The rankings are NOT based on how strong the candidates would be in winning in a General Election against President Obama. The rankings will be adjusted day to day as events and information warrant. Rankings do not indicate an endorsement or preference for a particular candidate. Candidates included are those who have either indicated they may run, or individuals for which there is great speculation they will run.
