Here is video of Sonia Sotomayor being confirmed by the U.S. Senate as an Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court. Her confirmation was announced by Sen. Al Franken of Minnesota as he presided in the Senate Session. Sotomayor was confirmed by a 68-31 vote, and becomes the 111th person to sit on the U.S. Supreme Court. Sotomayor is the first Hispanic to sit on the high court. She replaces Justice David Souter, who was always a reliable liberal vote on the court.
