Glenn Beck Discusses Two of Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" Being Used Against Americans Today - Video 8/13/09

Here is video of Glenn Beck today talking about what he calls the "Radicals in the White House" who want average American citizens to "sit down and shut up."

He played a montage of video clips showing what the Obama Administration and the Mainstream Media have been saying about Americans who have been voicing their concern about Obama's desire to bring Government-run Health Care to America. He showed quite a collecting of statements from people like Robert Gibbs, Nancy Pelosi, John Dingell, and others.

He then played Hillary Clinton's 2003 statement that "we have a right to debate and disagree with ANY administration." That just does not seem to apply to the OBAMA Administration.

Beck encourages Americans to always be "respectful and polite," but to "stand your ground." He cited an example in 2002 when liberal protests were simply mentioned but not villified in any way.

Beck closes the segment by citing two of Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" that he says are being used against Americans today by former "Community Organizer" turned President Obama:

Rule 1. "Ridicule is a man's most potent weapon."

Rule 12. "Pick the target, freeze it, polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy."

Beck said their desire is to coax Americans into reacting to their pressure to give them fodder for more attacks. In other words - Americans need to keep their cool but continue to show up and speak their mind.

2012 Possible GOP Contenders: Power Rankings

Here is a list of possible GOP Contenders for the 2012 Republican Nomination for President. They are listed in “Power Ranked” order based on our subjective analysis of how strong the candidates would be should they decide to seek the nomination. The rankings are NOT based on how strong the candidates would be in winning in a General Election against President Obama. The rankings will be adjusted day to day as events and information warrant. Rankings do not indicate an endorsement or preference for a particular candidate. Candidates included are those who have either indicated they may run, or individuals for which there is great speculation they will run.
