Eighty-Six Year Old Texas Grandma Chases Intruder Away with a Can of "Raid" - Video 7/24/09

This story is too good! You have to see it. An 86 year-old grandmother in East Texas and her 69 year-old daughter were in their home when an intruder came into their house and demanded their purses. The 86 year-old grandmother started to call the police and the intruder told her to put the phone down or he would kill them both. She then got up and grabbed a can of "Raid" off the counter and started toward the intruder. He then took off, running out of the house!

" I would have sprayed him right in the face, If I could have got to him."

The 69-year old daughter also credited Jesus saying she prayed several times, "Lord Jesus, get this Devil Demon out of our house."

The 86 year-old concludes by saying that if an intruder comes into your home, "Grab the nearest thing you can find and just let 'em have it."

That's just too good for words!

The intruder was a 28 year-old gang member who was captured by police and is charged with aggravated robbery.

Go Granny! Love it! I guess that's how they make 'em in Texas. If we could just somehow get the Rocky Mountains and Colorado weather into Texas, it'd be my paradise!

I love it! I just love it! They are my kind of gals. I am a Texas gal, born and bred, myself, back 7 generations, and these gals have the right spirit.

Just start praying, and grab anything at a hand and let them have it. Tell them what their own grannies would do to them right now if they got their hands on them and they would turn them over their knees and whop them good.
I've heard of ladies turning out the lights at night and throwing marbles on the floor, for real! and anything that sprays, hair spray or bug spray or cleaners - the window cleaners ought to get them good! Keep something like that by your chair, handy for all occassions.
Then sit on them and slap their heads.
These guys can come in real scary, but when you fight back, they are not always near as tough as they want you to believe.
Just be prepared, because sometimes it isn't that easy - but often, it is a lot easier than some folks would have you believe.
Then kick them in the shins, too!

2012 Possible GOP Contenders: Power Rankings

Here is a list of possible GOP Contenders for the 2012 Republican Nomination for President. They are listed in “Power Ranked” order based on our subjective analysis of how strong the candidates would be should they decide to seek the nomination. The rankings are NOT based on how strong the candidates would be in winning in a General Election against President Obama. The rankings will be adjusted day to day as events and information warrant. Rankings do not indicate an endorsement or preference for a particular candidate. Candidates included are those who have either indicated they may run, or individuals for which there is great speculation they will run.
