Ed Rollins Says Timing of Palin Resignation "Suspicious" - Video 7/3/09
Here is video of GOP Strategist Ed Rollins giving his assessment of Gov. Sarah Palin's decision to resign as Governor of Alaska. Rollins calls the timing of her resignation announcement "suspicious," referring to it coming on a Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend, and because she is not finishing out her term. He does not believe this is any way to start a campaign for President.

Ed Rollins is a totally incompetent idiot. There is no way that Palin thinks she is "burying this" by resigning on Friday.. She is simply giving the middle finger to all of the corrupt politicians of the right and the left and getting ready to take her case to the people.
She realizes the gravity of the situation this country and the world is in with the corruptness in DC and she is going all in to change it IMHO.
The time has come to separate the sheep from the goats, or elephants from the mules, within the Republican party. Ed you just proved yourself to be an old goat/mule suffering from "Sarah Palin Derangement Syndrome".
Sarah is far more intelligent than people give her credit for and this move proves it. She has even the most seasoned of her critics scratching their heads at a total loss with regard to her future plans. Brilliant strategy.

"Burying this"? Hardly. It's replaced the Jackson funeral as the story of the Fourth of July weekend. There are lots of tea parties going on this weekend, and Palin just gave them something to talk about. Heck, everyone's talking about it. It's the only real story this weekend.
Seems like a pretty smart move.
