Deaf Student Asks Sen. McCaskill to Vote "No" on ObamaCare; Explains Bill Would Deem Special Needs as "Too Expensive" - Video 7/27/09
Here is video of a deaf student at a Health Care Town Hall Meeting urging Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri to "vote no" because the bill is not good for people with disabilities. The young explained that the bill would place people like himself in a category that would be deemed "too expensive" for the care they need, and would likely lead to a rationing of care for folks with special needs. Gateway Pundit says:
This was powerful. Noah Logue is a deaf student at a local college in St. Louis. Noah currently is able to afford the equipment necessary for him to communicate and lead an independent life. Under Obamacare Noah may not qualify since he is special needs citizen.
The audience exploded with applause and support when he finished his statement. The word is definitely getting around about the potential impact of ObamaCare.
Gateway Pundit now has the notes from Noah's speech.
