Bill Maher Insults Sarah Palin; Tells Wolf Blitzer America is a "Stupid Country" - Video 7/27/09
Here is video of America-hating comedian Bill Maher this afternoon talking with CNN's Wolf Blitzer and saying she would not put it past Palin to have a future in politics "in this stupid country" (see 1:44 mark of the video). Blitzer followed up later after a break by telling Maher they were getting emails asking him to clarify what he meant by saying America is a "stupid country" (see 4:32 mark of video). He said "I don't need to clarify. It is." Maher said the fact that Sarah Palin could be President proves his point. "This country just gets dumber and dumber by the day." Wolf Blitzer chimed in that "America did elect Barack Obama" as if that proves America is NOT a "stupid country." "Look who he was running against," said Maher.
Maher repeatedly insulted Palin, including her farewell speech delivered yesterday in Fairbanks. As usual, he showed himself to be the bomb-throwing America-hater he has been for years.

Why do we care what a moron like Maher thinks? He's a fisherman and that's all. He looks for the most superficial in everything and sits as a smug fool would spewing nonsense.
you are so far off about sarah palin you need prayer you are such a bitter old man..judging people you relly need to look at youself they say what you say about people is what you are or you couldnt recognize it in them ;i pray that the lord touches your heart so that you gain wisdom to regconize the right people for the right job

Unfortunately it was the stupid people who elected George W Bush in 2004 and stupid people who fought to get him appointed by the supreme court in 2000. Stupid people in the south elect the likes of Mitch McConnell from Kentucky, John Boehner of Ohio, etc who go to Washington and vote against the poor working people. Yes they are stupid and the smart people try to save the stupid people from themselves but the smart people are outnumbered by the stupid people. Period.
