Al Sharpton at Jackson Funeral Tells Children "There was nothing strange about your daddy." - Video 7/7/09

NOTE 7/10/09 6:24 am cdt: MSNBC pulled their video of Sharpton's remarks at the funeral. I'm not sure why. But here is a YouTube of the remarks. Sharpton makes his comments to Jackson's children at the 5:19 mark of the video.

NOTE: Go here to see the complete video of Michael Jackson's Funeral Service

Here is video from the Michael Jackson funeral service where the Rev. Al Sharpton spoke glowingly about Jackson's life, and spoke directly to his children saying, "There wasn't anything strange about your Daddy. What was strange was what he had to deal with."

Al Sharpton did a great job on the eulogy...he spoke directly to those kids and thats what they needed to hear.

It was one of the most moving moments to me of the entire service.

I think there had to be something strange about Joe Jackson, and through various forms of abuse he passed that on to Michael. I pretty much blame Joe for all this. How about you? Anyone?

thanks

And I also think of Revs. Sharpton and Jackson as self-aggrandizing A-holes. But hey, that's just me. I hope people can now let MJ Rest In Peace. He sure seemed to have an unhappy enough life. Let him be.

thanks

Al sharpton is a joke and what he said was a crock. If it wasn't for Micheal there would be no tiger woods now that's a joke. Oh there was something wrong with him not how we treated him. That guy was a freak!

The video has been removed..

How funny is that?

Maybe Al Sharpton got to it.

NatureJockk,
Thanks for telling me the MSNBC video was no longer available. I don't know why they pulled it. I have replaced it with a YouTube version of Jackson's remarks. Thanks again!

CNN is reporting that Michael Jackson is STILL dead, much to the dismay of his worshipers.
