President Obama Says He's Ready for a "New Beginning with Cuba" - Video 4/17/09

Here is video of President Obama today at the "Summit of the Americas" in Trinidad and Tobago where he said he was ready for "a new beginning with Cuba." It appears President Obama is ready to abandon 50 years of U.S. policy that has isolated Cuba's repressive, Communist, Castro-led government.

As far as I know, Cuba has not changed any of their policies of repression, but America now has a new leader who seems to believe the policies of both Democrat and Republican Presidents for 50 years has been wrong. He knows better, and is ready to treat Cuba as a welcome neighbor rather than a repressive pariah.
