- Among other things, Obama said he would push for a new "Climate Change" agreement that America can sign onto in Copenhagen at the end of the year.
- He told students that George W. Bush did not believe in "Climate Change," but "I do." But he said that does not mean the day he got elected he could "make everyone turn off the lights and stop driving." He said that he hopes over time to make changes! (I'm thinking that was just an off-the-cup "non-teleprompter" analogy the President used, or does he intend to make us all "turn off the lights" and "stop driving?")
- Obama cited some of the failures in America's past, but said America has had the capacity to change and is still striving for a "more perfect union."
