Very happy Rush is playing an even bigger role in leading conservatism back into the fight.

Anonymous,  February 28, 2009 at 8:26 PM

Every American should have to listen to Rush, then Sean Hannity, for 3 months non-stop --- and this world would be a better place. We should rename the Republican part the Constitutionalists maybe.

GO RUSH!!!!
GO RUSH!!!!
GO RUSH!!!!
GO RUSH!!!!

I just go finished watching Rush address CPAC in DC and did he ever tell it like it is!! What a wonderful speech, this is what needed to be going on in the many months before the election and we wouldn't be in the spiral downfall that we are in right now with Obambi!

Rush needs to go on the road and spread the word to everyone!!

Don,
Thanks for the kind words and for adding Freedom's Lighthouse to your blogroll! I'm so glad you enjoyed Rush's speech. I enjoyed every word of it, and hope millions of Americans will hear what he had to say in the days ahead. Thanks again.

Anonymous,
I agree that Rush needs to go on the road with the message in the months and years ahead leading up to 2012. He is on the radio every day, but when he gives the addresses it gains so much publicity. I'd like to see Rush and Hannity do some tours to get the conservative message out and to generate enthusiasm among conservatives during these Obama years. Thanks for commenting.

I can not believe that RUSH has the nerve to say that "Obama has not inspired the people of America". The people did not vote for Obama based on emotion, they voted for Obama because they are educated. To say that Republicans are intellectuals is a complete joke, the party who doesn't believe in evolution and voted for a man as below average as George Bush. Seriously, I wouldn't say that republicans value education. Face it, your hopes of bringing a woman to the ticket to get the woman vote was a complete disaster. Real women vote for intelligence and Palin has absolutely NONE.

Was Rush high tonight?? Rehab again???

Thank you so much for putting up these videos. I missed the speech earlier, and was very happy to see it posted here!

Glad the videos posted here were a help to you. Thanks for stopping by!

Awesome speech! It's unfortunate that conservatives have to turn to Rush for leadership. When it comes to Presidential contenders for 2012, we still see the same old liberal RINOs - Huckabee, Romney, Giuliani, etc. Except for Newt, there isn't an experienced politician in the lot that can be counted on to be truly conservative.

Sue (aka Soo) February 28, 2009 at 10:29 PM

I'm so glad to have found this on your blog. I missed it a 5 pm, and was hoping to locate it online somewhere.

Rush says it like it is! I'm praying that conservatives will catch the fever again and resist this onslaught until 2012. We need to get serious about a real candidate and not listen to what the hollywood media says about a person!

One of the courageous "Annonymous" liberals wrote:

First of all Obama did not win a mandate in the election, 48% of the vote was in opposition to him. And what do you mean that people weren't swayed by their emotions?! For god sake the media all fawned over his ever word, his every move for over a year!! If they could have so influenced heaven, he would have been deified before our very eyes. And it still continues...the media bearing forth his every proclaimation like words from the lips of a saint. Have you purchased your Obama porcelain plates and inagural coins?

I really get weary of the steady buzz of you eletist, liberal jerks proclaiming that you have the market cornered on education. And you tout 'evolution' as the plumb line of intellegence, when anyone who has checked the science knows it's not supported. It's the opiate of the godless masses. A comfortable religion to discount the Creator.

If you want to prove your great intellegence and eduction, show me ANY society where socialism has provided equality to it's citizens.

You voted for a dictator! Get ready to feel the burn!!

Now we're talking! Thank you so much for posting his speech. I've told so many people that it was the most energizing speech I've ever heard.

Obama won this election because of the liberal media and the DUH DUHs who were having so many Oprah Obamagasms they went blind and simply felt their way to the polls to end it all in a horrible orgy. Worse yet - the orgy hasn't stopped. All this goo-goo gah'ing and ooo'ing and ahh'ing is worse than sickening. It's like being locked in a room with Pelosi and Biden singing Sly and The Family Stone ....

"I wanna take you higher....

I mean.....

I wanna take you lower...
OH-BaMa-Shaka-Laka
OH-BaMa-Shaka-Laka

GO RUSH!

(and to think - they thought Earth Wind and Fire and Stevie Wonder rocked the dinner party.)

Gun Laws: Rush please address the new gun laws that are being proposed. We are losing our rights to the second amendment if the government mandates each of us gun owners to put a $1,000,000 insurance liability policy on our guns. Does anyone see how this is effecting the very people who do obey the laws? The people who this idea is supposed to protect will be paid for by the ones who would obey this law. It is another mandated expense that would open up the opportunity for scrupulous insurance agents (government way to tax us by using our passion for guns against us) and I can only imagine the gunfights that will occur with ATF as they try to deprive Americans from their guns. How does the famous saying go?...... If guns are outlawed, then only outlaws will have guns?
Rush, you did an awesome job addressing CPAC on the first Amendment, so please address other amendment issues such as this one. Thank You

Thank you so much for the video. Rush was so lifting to the spirit in that I'm going on seventy and can't believe what our President is doing to this country and its People. He swore to uphold the Constitution which our forefathers put there to protect us. His actions are not Constitutional and he should be brought up on charges for the violation of that oath.

I think some of you forget exactly how Rush was almost single handedly responsible for the Obama victory. He had some help from Hannity as well. Bith backed their horse, mitt romney who changes his views with the wind and stuck with him at the expense of the only viable candidate at the time, Huckaby. They criticised Huckaby and helped McCain get the nod. They were both upset and said they didn't like McCain and then they got on his wagon as well. Neither Romney o0r MCcain ever had a chance to win against Obama. Especially after Mccain rushes back to DC to jump on the bush tarp bill which all true conservatives were against. While I agree with most everything Rush says, Rush is only interested in Rush, his ratings, and being inside the power circle in the next election. I will not forgive either Rush or hannity for the way they backed McCain and Romney..and as of todays straw poll, nothing has changed.40% of the pork was put in by Republicans..My concern is the damage Bush/Obama is doing to this nation, we may not have an election in two years. We may not have a country in two years and no one is addressing what will we do then? After they void the 2nd amendment, the rest will fall in no time and Rush doesn't even address the issue. If you like to beentertained, it was a great speech. If you are in the choir, you love the preaching...but Rush's ego and arrogance and his demonization of others will woo no new people, but just polarize us further. I am not saying to compromise the message, just delivering it with civility. He cannot do that and therefore other than a cheerleader, he is irrelevant in reaching out and making his case to others.

Thanks so very much for making this speech available.

I am sending this website to as many people as I can.

What a great speech.

Loved it.

Mucho thanks.

hyped up on a lot of oxycontin, eh!!! what a joke...
i've never seen a more visual manifestation of 'poor loser' ever, a picture of his inflamed face, puffing in anger, rocking back and forth, could go in the OED by the word's definition...

a face only radio can love!!

Rush said nothing new. He simply reiterated what conservatism is...and deep down EVERY American is conservative. No? Then take ask your professor to change your "A" to a "B" so that your under-achieving classmate can therby receive a "C" rather than a "D." Then ask your country club to stop keeping score at the annual golf tournament so that the last place guy is "equal" in results to you. Then abolish the Hall of Fame in every sport and industry. Ridiculous? No difference between those examples and taking 39% of someones pay that has been successful versus 15% of someone elses pay. Until Americans believe in themselves more than their governament, things will not change.

Anonymous,  March 1, 2009 at 11:32 AM

Loved Rush' speech. Can you imagine Obama, pelosi and Reed running your business???? I bet you all said "no way" in a fraction of a second. Lets take back America and win next in 2012 . I have some bills to pay.

Anonymous,  March 1, 2009 at 12:03 PM

God Bless Rush!!

Anonymous,  March 1, 2009 at 12:34 PM

Excellent speech. He is a real conservative thinker. About McCain, Rush forgot to mention that the Media trashed him after they elevated to be the candidate to face Obama. The liberals are a bunch of arrogant, manupilative, tricky and power hungry people. They are the ones responsible to tearing America down.

Mark Yannone March 1, 2009 at 1:33 PM

It's always difficult to listen to Rush Limbaugh pretend to defend freedom and pretend to embrace principles, when he is every bit as unprincipled a thief as any of his "liberal" targets. I have two words for Rush Limbaugh to choke on: "Ron Paul."

Here's a question for Rush Limbaugh and all the other conservatives and liberals: "What percentage of my income do I have an absolute right to keep?" A principled, freedom-loving reply requires a three-digit integer.

Rush was simp;y speaking the truth to power.

Anonymous,  March 1, 2009 at 10:04 PM

True, Rush said nothing new. He stated things that several of us needed to be reminded of, though... things that were great to hear live on major cable news stations.

He rallied the base (and hopefully a few others) by keeping it simple, keeping it to what we all know, and saying it with a swagger and sense of humor that keeps you sucked in and wanting to listen for hours.

As always, it's a pleasure to hear the man speak. As always, he's right on the money.

Michael Savage would have given a much better speech.

You can see the entire video in one flash page, and you can now purchase the DVD of the entire Rush CPAC speech at:

http://www.c-spanarchives.org/library/index.php?main_page=product_video_info&products_id=284357-3&showVid=true

I just purchased it, since I rank this speech right up there with Reagan’s conservative speeches/writings.

Anonymous,  March 8, 2009 at 12:14 PM

I am trying to DOWNLOAD this speech but have been unable to do so, and I don't really want to give C-span $29.99 for it on DVD. Any suggestions?

I cannot believe you idiots. You actually support Rush Limbaugh? You must be high! Rush is a bigot and a druggie. He is simply an insane loudmouth that has transformed an already crippled Republican party into the laughingstock of the entire United States. Open your eyes, people! Stop being blind lemmings! Become a swing voter! Become open-minded! Reject idiots like Rush and embrace heroes like Obama! Become an agnostic! Save yourselves while you still can!

It's interesting, and before this speech I never realize how what I thought matched up with others, including Rush. Never really thought about it at all. But indeed, I have never seen myself as anything other than an American human being.

Never did I see myself as a woman-American and any other sub category in my dealings with the world.

I just went out there in the world, gender and color blind, and excelled. I'm proud to be a woman flying jets, and a woman film producer! It's America that makes success like that happen.
