2001 Video Surfaces of Obama the Food Critic - Video August 2001

Here is video from 2001 of a much younger-looking Barack Obama - then a state senator in Illinois - appearing on a restaurant review program called "Check, Please." He reviews two Chicago area eating places. It's hard to believe that seven and a half years later, he is about to be inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States.
